I think there is a difference in Rose at times. He isnt as consistent but still very very quick. He has always lacked some defense and shooting.

Kyrie has it all and is improving on D, still young and lacking there.

It's mostly rust and conditioning with D Rose. Kyrie has a lot of talent and he'll be strong. He's got LBJ to lean on too.

I didn't think the Heat would win a title their first year together and they had Pat Riley behind the scenes. LBJ has a lot on his shoulders, but he's got talent around him for sure. It's tough for a team to come together in 1 year. The Bulls are just starting to figure it out - I hope. Early in the season, Jimmy gets hurt, then D Rose again, then they finally get on the floor together the last 2-3 weeks.

It's all there.. But I watch D Rose and the only thing I see that's different with him now and then is his body control - which is why some games the turnovers come in bunches. That's rust and still being indecisive. Sure Lebron isn't 24 and scoring a ton, but his #'s are balanced and he's a lot more in control than he was than his previous run in Cleveland.


That's all I was trying to say. Try telling MJ or Kobe they weren't as good at 30 as they were at 25.. I bet they would disagree. Sure the dunks were better at 25, but that doesn't win championships.

Stop trying to make it about Miami every time. It's the Bulls v. Cavs. Heat aren't in the playoffs. Let it go.

Heat has nothing to do with this series, but Heat has everything to do as far as where James played his best basketball.
My response was to Wiggy's prediction that James best ball was ahead of him....so I'll ask once again, name any player whose best ball was after the age of 30 and logging 40,000+ minutes....

It's not the first time he's defended Lebron. Butler invites the physical play and is one of most effective Lebron defenders in the league. Maybe the Cavs can use some picks to switch Jimmy off so Lebron can score.
