I guess team unity when out the window. This Is why James will never be mention in the top 5. The guy is a joke sometimes(He is like the Arod of baseball when he talks). 3 days ago he had this whole speech about not wearing the headband because of team unity. Well that lasted 1 game. LOL
Maybe the whole team will wear headbands next game.:noidea:
I'm sure right now they are happier with the W than team unity with an L.

And what does this have to do with him being mentioned in the top 5?

Lebron reasons for stop wearing the headband was pretty retarded.

what was his reason for that again?
He gave up #23 to respect what Jordan had accomplished in the game and took #6, the number of some guy with 11 rings.

This is what crazy and they both have driven to the basket around the same amount. That's how you know the Refs are doing a bad job. Even Thibs said something.

Yeah, I saw the graphic on ESPN showing that they both have 13 drives in the first 2 games... and yet Rose has no FT. That, on its own, doesn't mean much to me, though. I'd like to see each player's 13 drives, and how each drive ended. I still have both games on DVR and I might do it out of curiosity.

How many times did Rose pass out of his drive? I can think of several off the top of my head... including a few that were great passes that resulted in scores. How many of Irving's FTs came off of his drives? I know 6 of them are from 2 fouled 3 point attempts.

I'm obviously biased and wouldn't notice it as much as an unbiased person. would.. but it hasn't felt like Rose isn't getting calls to me. He's seemed like he's mostly been distributing and taking jumpers (which he's actually been hitting pretty well).

The Good news for the bulls that was the Cavs played their best game of the year

That is a huge stretch, IMO.

As for the seemingly prevalent theory that the Cavs got lucky with a flukey, good 3-pt shooting night... let's not overstate things...

1) The Cavs made 12 3-pointers yesterday. That's slightly better than their season long average of 10.1 3PM per game (which ranks #3 in the league behind Houston and Golden State).

2) The Cavs made more than 12 3-pointers 25 times this season (including two other times in the playoffs).

3) Shumpert, Jones, and Dellavedova all have more made 3-pointers this year than they have games played. Its not unusual to see them hit 3's... especially with their increase in shot attempts due to the absence of Smith and Love. Dellavedova actually shot below his season-long 3 point percentage.

4) Yesterday, the Cavs shot 10 percentage points above their season average from 3. In Game 1, the Bulls shot 20 percentage points above their season average from 3.

There's no doubt they had a good shooting night. Its definitely fair to say that the Cavs - just like any other team who takes a lot of 3-pointers - is in danger every game of 'dying by the 3'.

But to say its flukey or unusual or their best game of the year is far from the truth.

He isn't the brightest crayon in the box. This is why he reminds me or Arod when he talks. Guy is clueless.

Really does amaze me how teams can come out with so much energy in one game and then the next game not nearly as much.

Chicago had it in game 1, Cleveland had it in game 2. Hopefully, we see both teams play like that in the rest of the series. I knew Cleveland would answer, but I figured we would keep it closer than that..

Like his reason for switching numbers?

He gave up #23 because he left Cleveland, went to Miami and decided on #6 because that was his Olympic #

I think Finally we will get a close good game in game 3. Both teams had their crazy game. Now back to reality.

Bulls got home court. Lets go Bulls.

Thank you for mentioning my rings, but I'm perfectly capable of reminding people that I have 11 rings on my own. -Bill Russell

Good points, but the regular season stats include Kevin Love who is not playing, so it's safe to say that the Cavs shot the 3 better than they typically do. Nothing wrong with that, it's not unusual for guys to step up and play better for a couple of games when one of the top guys is out.

Looked to me like Lebron came out determined not to let the Cavs drop 2 games at home and the Bulls were satisfied with getting a split.

Well, he gave it up before he left Cleveland. http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=4650907
And he gave it up to honor Jordan, and took #6 because of his childhood fondness of Dr. J, but failed to recognize that it was that guy with 11 rings number, which you have to admit is funny.

I will live with Shumpert and deledova hitting 3s. I cant live with Tristan Thompson mauling the glass all series. bron and irving are going to get theirs and go off from time to time. the second chances cant happen when they do miss though

Rumors swirling on the internet over the last couple hours that Noah punched some fan at the arena last night??

Who knows, I guess we'll see if there's any truth to it. Honestly... at this point, as a Cavs fan, I want Noah out there on the court as much as possible. Don't know why he's playing so bad... but the dude is not himself right now.
