The cream always rises to the top

Lebron with his headband back is like superman adding his cape...it was a nice try Bulls but it looks like another gentleman sweep again

Cavs no love smith and even verajao pretty impressive

With a full team Bulls would lose in 4

I'm not even mad about them losing. It is more about how they're losing. If this was a close game throughout and they ended up losing by 6 or 7 that wouldn't bother me but to get completely dominated from start to finish with the Cavs down 2 starters is a freaking joke

These announcers saying T.T. is worth more than 13M/yr.

Ask any GM that isn't under LeBrons watchful eye if they'd give it to him.

It would be a unanimous 0/29.

Disagree.
I'd rather them get embarrassed.

Let them dwell on it for the next 2 days.

Half the battle is effort/energy.

Cavs clearly wanted this one more.

the big mistake was paying varejao... he is never gonna make it through a year. That money could've been used to keep mozgov or thompson.

Big mistake by lebron GM there

Pretty much...we all or at least most know a full cavs lineup would dominate the Bulls...now its 50/50 with slight edge to cavs because of lebron...I mean they are missing 40% of there starting lineup....how would the Bulls fair if butler and Noah weren't playing?

Nah.
They'll all get paid.
Gilbert has no choice.
Luxury tax galore.
By the time James is done with him, it will take a decade to recover.

As far as Varejao, didn't they extend him 3 years?

They extended Varejao for 2 more guaranteed years- the 3rd year is a team option for 10M i believe a year

Tristan realy has showcased his talent this post season thus far and is going to be in line for a major payraise this offseason. He is such a good athlete, plays the pick and roll nice, moves his feet so well defensively, and just outworks the opposition on the boards .

That was absolutely what the Cavs needed in the worst way. That should give them some confidence, Smith will be coming back, the Cavs held them to 40% shooting

JAMES JONES with 17 off the bench. If the Cavs get one of thei bench guys to step up like that each game they should win this series. Delly had a very solid game as well with 9 points AND NINE ASSISTS TOO!.

Its obvious Joakim Noah is not feeling his best. This is the same guy who was 4th in the NBA voting last year. He looks just out of it mentally.

Krie with 21 points on just 9 field goal attempts...

Chicago is going to be ready to go for the first game in Chicago- that is for sure. This series is probably going to go the distance and mometum will probably keep shifting back and forth

and of course- the most important part- LBJ was the best player on the court and the leaer the Cavs need him to be.

Cant wait till game 3

I didn't harp on it anywhere near what Trojan or a couple others did, but:

Statistically they are the worst bench in the league.
That is fact.
Spin it anyway you want, the numbers don't lie.
James is one hell of a big band aid.

And if you think T.T is worth near 70-75% of a max contract, all I can say is really? And why?

Look, many average players often look real good when they are allowed to shoot wide open shots.

Remember a couple players named Jason Kopono and Damon Jones?
How did they do here when they were on good Heat rosters?
Now, how did they perform on shitty Cavs rosters?

The list of players like that is a mile long.

Learn the game. Great players like James are the main reason guys like Shumpert and T.T. are even household names.
On their own merit they woukd be obscure.

what you fail t understand is that what will be 75% of a max contract this year - will be probably les than 50% of a max conract 2 years from now. a couple years from now a 15 million dollar big men will be a good player but by no means a great player. max contract is going to be like 32 million or so in a couple yeras once the cap reaches 106-108 million

That is why he will be well worth the 13-14 million he gets this ofseason.
