Biggest red flag there is Wall took 7 threes over the final 19 minutes for a guy who doesn't shoot the three ball. Just shows he was settling and not being aggressive

Congrats Celtics.

Wizards have to figure out a way to dump Mahinmi The guy was hurt most of the season, contributed next to nothing, will be 31 next season & made almost $16M. I realize that he had somewhat of a breakout season prior to the in Indiana but that now appears to have been more of a fluke.

That money can certainly be better spent. Their bench scored 5 pts last nt while one sub on Boston scored 26. That is unacceptable. I sure hope that they can get rid of this guy somehow (but doubt it).

Just wow again especially on those Wall stats

Wall might be able to play better defense than Kyrie- but he sure cant step up down the stretch of a Game 7.....YIKES!

that is truly awful....he totally gagged down the stretch....he mustve got tired or something...Boston was playing solid D- but shit- 0/11?

he couldnt have gotten a very good nights sleep last night knowing it was in his control and he blew it.

and the great Bogdon- who i said would gag in the playoffs --- Final tally?

Regular season stats with the Wizards:

12.7 pts, 3.1 rebounds, 0.8 assists, 45.7% from the field, 39.1% from 3.

Post-season stats with the Wizards:

8.8 pts, 4.3 rebounds, 0.7 assists, 41.4% shooting from the field, 35.6% shooting from 3

judge for yourself.

verdict? WASTE of a first round pick.--- well- i cant say total waste- but a lot better options were available

Biggest Offseason Priorities and Targets for Washington Wizards

Good article about the decisions that need to be made for the Wizards moving forward. They have a tricky situation regarding Porter since it may actually make more sense to not give him the big deal & perhaps wait for a big addition the following season. Other players also perhaps might contribute next season if healthy. We will see & of course other teams will also be improving.

Avery Bradley said after the game that Wall looked like his legs were gone at the end, so he was unable to use his speed to get to the rim.

When your bench is getting outscored 48-5 and you are your teams best player, you end up having to play a ton of minutes. Over a 7 game series, that's going to wear anyone down.

the Celtics should also have some fatigue after playing 2 hard fought series.

I just hope the Cavs arent too rusty in game 1...its been a ridiculous layoff.

True, but at least the Celtics have a bench. So their starters should at least have gotten regular rest. If the Wizards had somehow won, they'd be coming in completely gassed.

Yeah, the first layoff was long and the Cavs came out firing on all cylinders. This layoff was even longer though, so rust could be an issue. The question will be if the Celtics can take advantage and steal game 1. If they can, I think we see a 6 game series.

If not, it will be over in 5 at most.
