If be "glowing" you mean another guy I "hyped up" by putting in the category of 'good role player who plays good team defense'... then guilty as charged.

Anywho: yes, Baynes is still in the league... and yeah, he had a decent year in Phoenix last season. He's getting a little long in the tooth, but I'd be surprised if he isn't playing ball next season...

... I daresay a title contender like the Clippers would much rather have a Baynes (if Baynes were healthy) than crappy Zubac.
You can dare say it, but Phoenix didn't look like they missed him at all in the bubble. Have to think if they didn't like Zubac they could have found someone on Bayne's level (very low) to replace him.

That said, I'll admit Theis is better than i thought.

You're right. TT would be the ABSOLUTE ideal fit for this Boston team...not even joking lol

I was joking when I said that last night. But after reading your comment gotta agree with you.

He might be...but, admittedly, Theis a damn good fit for this team. Cs definitely a far better offseason than Philly who went for name over fit.

I think the Cavs should trade TT to Boston for Enis Kanter, Vincent Poirier and a 3rd round pick. :heh:

all seriousness I have no clue what will happen with TT. Listening to teammates sounds like they'd be nuts not to bring him back, but depends what he wants.

And who knows how this summer will be for FAs? Cap might go down. Teams will save for 2021 class. Then again, with teams saving might be the time for a less desirable team/destination to sign a player they could not normally attract.

also, the guy been in the league a while and tasted success (and has earned a boatload of money)...he might just be at point in career he'll take less to be on a contender again.

while I agree with this what he said also makes sense. All these guys have tested negative every time. IF they are gonna get the virus from another probably gonna be on the court in close contact as opposed to spread apart on the bench.
Belt and suspenders. Doesn't hurt anything.

If he takes less money his baby momma wouldn't be happy. Is he still fuckin' around with Klowhee?

I actually watched TT play in H.S. at Findlay Prep in Henderson, NV. He was set to go to UNLV and then his fuckin' teammate Cory Joseph talked him into going to Texas instead.

It was...but it happens. Hell, think it was games 2 and 3 in 2016 Finals that GS beat Cavs by 30+ then the Cavs beat them the next game by 30+.

Ya never know.

True. One of the frustrating things about basketball. You can shoot a shot 10 times on one day and hit 7 of 10.

Then come out the next day, shoot the same 10 shots the same way and hit 4 out of 10.

THeis is a better fit.

He can actually step out and make a shot too.

Assuming we are excluding all the expensive stars, I honestly can’t think of another role player big who would be better for Boston than Theis is.

why I think it's funny how sometimes D gets credit when often it was just a guy not hitting his shots.

Funny story about that, my son was about 13 when he came to live with me. His Mom hadn't really exposed him much to sports. He decided he wanted to play basketball. So, we signed him up and I coached his team.

Leading up to the start of the league, he knew he would be behind the other kids, so he asked me to teach him.

So, I did the same thing with him that I did when I coached high school ball. Taught defense first. When we started working on offense, he got so frustrated with how the same shots, done the same way didn't always get the same result, that he decided he'd be a defensive specialist.

Gotta say, I think he scored 6 points all season long...but he could literally shut down an entire side of the court by himself. A couple of times he got other players so frustrated I thought they were going to try to fight him. lol

Yep. Can't always control what happens on offense as far as shots going in, etc.

But you can always control your defensive effort and that can keep you in games when your shots aren't falling.

I love the Berlin Wall.

him and Williams is fine at c.

I kind of want a stretch 4 more than worrying about a 5.
