Kyrie doesn't want to be 2nd fiddle to LBJ anymore.
That ship has sailed.

If he somehow ends up in LA it'll be with the Clippers.
But even that's unlikely.

Problem with this is Kyrie just proved he can't be the top dog on a team. As top dog you must be a leader on the court, in the locker, room or both. Kyrie showed he can't do either

Irving and Durant both want o play for the NY Knicks. Huge salaries and mega huge residuals.

Just follow the money..............fuck the basketball.

That may be true, but the thing is, there will still be more than a handful of teams lined up and clamoring for his services during the off-season regardless of his leadership skills or lack thereof.

Kyrie would get more money in Boston than in New York so your follow the money argument doesn't hold water.

For your sake, you better hope if the Knicks get Kyrie that KD is coming as well because Kyrie as top option in NYK will be a disaster especially if they miss out on Zion

I better hope?
LOL.
My one true hope above anything else regarding the Knicks first and foremost, is that Dolan finally sells the team.

Correct. If you want the Knicks to get back to their winning ways

So this becomes Jayson Tatum’s team now, right?

Lmfaooo

Not when they trade him for AD. Then they get rid of Heyward's contract. It will be a trio of AD, Jaylen and Horford LOL

After this year, I have no idea why anyone would want Kyrie to be the top player on their team. He is best as a 2nd option where he doesn't have to be a leader
Would not be shocked if he learned something and goes to LA.

Yeah I mean he needs to team up with a star so he can be a 1A guy but the only guy we know that can play with him is Lebron and that wasn’t the best fit
Did win a title and only lost to a team no one has beaten.

I mostly defended Kyrie this season and argued his ability as a basketball player trumped the negatives he brings to the table.

After the entirety of this season and post-season, though... I'm fine if he walks.

Guy has had multiple chances to change his tune... to learn from mistakes... his demeanor and quotes and "leadership" and play on the court during this Milwaukee series, though?...

... Kyrie just doesn't get it and never will.

Even on the court, it looked like Kyrie just decided "F the team" and tried to lone gun everything... Milwaukee let him do so and smiled.

I'd love to know who on the team struck him as unproductive. Hayward is obviously performing below contract but he's a hell of a bench option.

Residuals, not salary. He'd get a Max contract in Boston same in NY. They have a boatload of available money.
