My personal thoughts are about Luka Doncic in this series and his legacy. I keep hearing about how great he is and how much of a generational talent he is but at the end of the day forget the numbers teams are fighting for championships and legacy. Luka has been in the league like 5 or 6 years now and doesn't have much in terms of playoff success or at least come close to a finals appearance. He has Kyrie now whom has championship experience and they are playing a team with a rookie in their lineup. Luka needs to lead this Mavs team to a series win or to me his is just a regular season great player.

He carried his team to the WCF’s and lost to the Warriors. Until recently when they acquired Kyrie and he is finally healthy they are starting to gel and play ball.

There are absolutely no questions about his generational talent. The guy is a freak.

Steph didn’t win his first championship until he was 26 and he had an amazing supporting cast. Luka is 25. The time is soon

You know it’s different. Can’t compare Dallas to phoenix. Can’t get in your feelings about people picking against okc. Dallas actually play defense and they have 2 killers on offense

Well he doesn't have to win the entire championship this year but I don't think he should be beat buy a bunch of younger less experienced players.

Mav's defense just isnt good enough to handle the OKC wings.

For all the talk about how great Luka is, he is a fatal flaw on the defensive side of things. I was uber-impressed with Irving's effort in the last series but he just isnt going to be physical enough to slow down Shai or Williams. And most of the series OKC will likely just be running Dort (I assume that is who they will have Luka cover) as the initial pick player anyway to get Luka into the action.

Not at all, I’m predicting 7 games. Was just pointing out I was told I was wrong when I picked the Twolves over the Suns. I was one of the only ones to pick that and now everyone sniffing Minnys jock.
