Most importantly by not getting eliminated in round 1, I think OKC season is offically a success no matter what happens in this series. Anything else from this point on is the icing on the cake

They needed him that series so they had no choice, they didn’t have a big that could spread the floor. He is a VERY streaky player. The addition of PJ changes things for sure.

Kleber is a 15-20 minute role player at best... Kidd and Cuban both want to kiss him on the lips, similar to Malone/KCP, only KCP I'd say is ideally good for about 25 a night. (Malone used him for 37 last night against the T-Wolves.)

2022 the Mavs had DFS who should have been better utilized in a small-ball lineup against Draymond/Looney. Once they found this out they were already down 3-0...

I still would hope THJ is going to come back soon for this series, though.

My personal thoughts are about Luka Doncic in this series and his legacy. I keep hearing about how great he is and how much of a generational talent he is but at the end of the day forget the numbers teams are fighting for championships and legacy. Luka has been in the league like 5 or 6 years now and doesn't have much in terms of playoff success or at least come close to a finals appearance. He has Kyrie now whom has championship experience and they are playing a team with a rookie in their lineup. Luka needs to lead this Mavs team to a series win or to me his is just a regular season great player.
