This might sound obvious but Denver has to protect home court the next two games to have any sort of chance, provided the series isn't over already...

Just have to hope a beatdown like this could make them more desperate. They've had every reason in the world to quit on this season... But it's time to respond once again.

OKC needed that beatdown after gagging away game 1. Very impressive for a young team to respond that way

I don't think anybody would argue that this is the real nuggets at least anyone who knows about basketball. OKC isn't 34 points better than Denver

True.

But by the same token, Denver isn’t 2 points better than OKC.

The truth is that OKC is probably about 8-10 points better.

Denver must win the 1 possession games to keep this series close. Because there will be more lopsided OKC wins.

But seriously, although the Ws have a small chance to win tomorrow (I really thought before this OKC game Denver had NO chance), this kind of ass whupping is the most likely outcome tomorrow. No Curry, Minny getting mad. Maybe not 35 points but a 15+ point Minnesota win seems the most probable

Yeah, I agree.

Would be different with Curry

Wouldn't have thought NY would be up 2-0 after 2 games in Boston.

Won't surprise me if Butler and the Warriors win 2 in Minny. Or at the very least, cover the spread tonight.

Wow what an ass kicking your Thunder put on the Nuggets. It was brutal.
Only one game but have to like the result. There is a reason the Thunder were 10 point favorites and still 5 point favorites in Denver. Game 3 is huge though.

Not sure if the Nuggets can recover quick enough from that thumping.

If they don't get off to a good start it'll be a long game three for them.

The Thunder better win this year or they are going to hold a bunch of meaningless records. Besides the points in a half in the playoffs last night they are now the only team in league history with two 40 point playoff wins..

I think the Nuggets will respond well in game 3. It will be a close contest. OKC is still heavily favored for a reason. If OKC wins game 3, I think the series is over. If the Nuggets win, it might go 7 games. Of course, nothing is set in stone. I'm just happy to see my team overachieve in a somewhat underwhelming season. OKC was so dominant this year and more than likely that will propel them to the NBA Finals but we'll see.

Two 40 point wins vs two 20 point chokes … I’d say, at this point, it’d be a bigger shocker if the thunder lost the final than the Celtics collapsing in their two games …

The level of play in this series is beyond anything we are seeing other than the Knicks at times.
