That is fine.

I think it is not the right strategy.

I get the logic behind the strategy...but they were fouling immediately, including when they hadn't even crossed half court. At least have them run 2-4 seconds off the clock trying to get across half court before you foul. OKC was only letting 10th's of seconds run off the clock.

They have too good of a defense not to try to guard to half court before fouling.

Yep.

Oh well, if we know nothing else about the Thunder and their coach... it's pretty safe to say that they will learn from this and be better for it.

Just not true

Yeah, I don't think it's as prevalent as @thunderc is implying. I think more teams may be doing it, but most of the time teams are inbounding in their half of the court which brings the dilemma of trying to "time it" so you don't end up fouling a guy shooting a 3.

Yes, but it needs to happen now. To me this isn’t even the story of last night, the story is Jdub and Chet, and Hartenstein to some degree completely stoking the place up. It’s not a game late if they hadn’t.

It actually is from what I have seen recently, it’s much more true than it was a few years ago.

Very few teams do it like thunder aka fouling multiple times with over 10 seconds left. If you talking about under 5 seconds left then yes but you don’t see a lot of teams fouling with 10-15 seconds left

To be fair, neither team played particularly well. So, even if JDub, The Big Amish and Hartenstein played well, it's safe to say that if Denver plays better as well, we get a better played version of the same game.

I’m just taking about fouling period. I see it all the time with 15 seconds though. It shouldn’t have mattered, too much being made about it. Got to move on.

Whatever, Ive watched every game the Thunder have played and when they were up 10 with normal play from those guys it was a runaway. Like it should have been the first game on so much rest against a team coming off a 7 game series. Hopefully they get it straightened out.

Nobody expected the Knicks to win either....it was a great night.

Warriors/Twolves who's favored? Guessing Minny even though G.S. has all the playoff experience.
