Could be better, but could be worse.
Better for Nebraska and worse for Iowa????
We’ve shown that Nebraska at its worst is level with Iowa at its best.
I guess you’re right.
Last 4 seasons
Iowa - 37-16 (25-12)
Nebraska - 23-27 (15-20)
Iowa vs Nebraska - 4-0
Iowa vs Nebraska - 155-52
You Iowa guys sure like to move the bar.
It’s been about 2001 - present.
If we’re picking 4 year periods, I vote 94-97
Actually, I gave 4 different ones earlier. 5 years, 10 years, 15 years, and 20 years. I also gave comparison inside each 5 years. And year-by-year.
Nobody reads all that spoiler stuff. Besides, all you Iowa guys look alike and can’t drive for shit.
Did it explain why a Nebraska team with only 8 wins in the last 2 years can still out recruit a “clearly more relevant” team?
I measure recruits differently. Ferentz has had 2 5-star recruits. The 1st one was outplayed by a 2-star and nobody knows his name. The 2nd one is AJ Epenesa, one of the top DLs in the country.
Most of the players who have won national position awards for Iowa were no better than 3-stars.
And preseason coverage doesn't make a team more relevant.
You do sound like twins.Seasons with 9 or more wins since 2000
Nebr: 12
Iowa: 12
Bowl record since 2000
Nebr: 7-8
Iowa: 8-8
My gawd the worst Nebraska stretch in 60 years IS Iowa 2.0
You do sound like twins.
Dantonio said he modeled his coaching strategy after Ferentz.
You gonna lie back and take that @7Samurai13 ????

Shitty offense paired with being relevant once out of every three to four years. Sounds about right.
More like every 5 or 6 years for Iowa, but yeah point made.
2004 (10-2)
2005 (7-5) .... 1 year
2006 (6-7) .... 2 years
2007 (6-6)..... 3 years
2008 (9-4)..... 4 years
2009 (11-2)... 5 years
2010 (8-5)..... 1 year
2011 (7-6)..... 2 years
2012 (4-8)..... 3 years
2013 (8-5)..... 4 years
2014 (7-6)..... 5 years
2015 (12-2) ... 6 years
2016 (8-5)
2017 (8-5)
2018 (9-4)
That is literally the best times in Iowa's program history.
2005-07, Iowa sucked. That was in the middle of that AIRBHGa mess thing, however, Iowa still had a strong D throughout that time.
Once Norm Parker's health went bad around 2010, Iowa's D wasn't the same and they lost O'Keefe there. It was a mess. 2010, Iowa extremely underachieved.
In Nebraska math 5 top 10s in 18 years is every 5 or 6 years .
