The finale was action packed, and Jack kicked ass as usual.

I realize it's 24...meaning one does not expect the ending to be all sunshine and rainbows.......but, damn.....the last 15 minutes of the final episode were quite a downer!

The final scene...wow...Jack is screwed!

The ending certainly sets up a theatrical motion picture....which is what has been rumored for a number of years.

Anyone notice how it was a silent clock at the end? Does that truly mean it is the "end" of 24 for good?

Honestly I did not think Audrey would be killed off, I thought President Hellar would have been but it was very emotional what he said the the British Prime Minister at the airport, "I won't even remember I had a daughter who died."

24 held a good rating over it's entirety of LAD but really peaked last night for the finale. I would assume they will bring it back for a 10th season.

I was surprised too, didn't see that coming. I will admit, the idea of Jack killing himself, which they gave the impression he wanted to after hearing about Audrey's death, was intriguing.

It was a somber no clicking for the death I agree. Ending could have been better, but at least Jack is not dead, he made it out of the chinese prison, he could make it out of the russian prison.

Would have liked to have seen two hours, one hour from 10-11pm, then the following day. The presidents alsheimers speech to the prime minister about not going to remember any of it was pretty bold. The beheading of the a hole though, awesome. Seemed like the Chinese president was gonna want that guy back alive, I thought that was gonna put a bump in the end road.

The fact that he didn't kill himself might lead me to believe that he is coming back.. I mean at that point did he really have anything left to live for? I mean I know he "loved (use lightly) Chloe but not enough to stick around. But I am sure his hatred for That Chinese General (who's name is escaping me) killing Audrey led Jack to continue to his mission of killing him.

I was expecting the US to swoop in and save Jack at the end though, I had that feeling that it would happen, yet it did not.

I agree and they left that part of it kind of hanging, if there is another season I wouldn't be surprised if that didn't pop up, nobody knows that Jack killed him.

Yeah.... You had to really believe once Jack turned the camera off he was going to kill him. I thought for a second he was going to do it while the camera was on.

I don't know how Jack has survived all these years after all the people he cared about either been killed or have betrayed him.
