Yeah, I kinda thought the same thing. He didn't lean in with the shoulder or anything. He was going to the net, got pushed in the back, and there wasn't much else he could have done. Don't see the big deal myself. He didn't follow through with a shoulder or elbow or anything. That's just part of hockey.

I agree with an unbiased opinion,and if there is a call for a ban then how about hitting Miller with something for his outburst.Perhaps beat on your d-man for throwing him into you.

This thread is hilarious, lol. Tootoo hit our goalie, boo hoo. You know how many goalies get hit as an end result of the play? Look how many players hit the goalie sliding or as a result of direct or indirect contact.. It's a physical sport, it happens. When your skating all out you can't just pull up at the end. A slight push or touch is enough sometimes to change your course.. If this wasn't Tootoo it wouldn't even be a question...But yea I'm sure he planned it all out in the 3 seconds before he hit Miller. This isn't Football, if your Goalies a pussy put him in the NFL lol..But I guess since that Goalie is and always has been your whole team I would be a little pissed to I guess..Maybe...

After reading all the posts now, I agree with Awaz (Not that Pronger sucks), in that the only reason this gets looked at is because Tootoo is a prick.

I think the jump, if anything, helped Miller tremendously. If he didn't leave his feet Miller is getting a shoulder to the head. Not saying it's right and the argument can be made that he should not be cutting to the net that late, but he's allowed to do it.

Because of the anal r*pe he took after the play, I think he was already served his punishment.

Sabres fans, Before you get all hostile at some of the posts do me a favor, go to es#n and look at the video there, If they keep the same one up, you'll see a front angle where Tootoo is twisting his body and does def appear to be trying to minimize the impact with Miller, I truly understand your position and your concern for your Goalie, but Your team responded and that's what really counts isn't it? Maybe, just Maybe that was a wake up call for them, and it could end up being a bad thing for the rest of the league. A Mad Miller may just become Nasty...That being said, See you fuckers on the 7th!!!!

I can understand that maybe Tootoo was trying to avoid Miller, but no one really knows if that's true except for him and God.

If you are willing to believe that Tootoo didn't mean to do it, you also have to consider the possibility that he intentionally meant to do it as well. You can make an argument for both sides of this.

But in a game that the Preds are losing, and a goalie that just came back from a concussion on a team that is labeled "soft", it wouldn't be out of character for a guy like Tootoo to run the goalie like that.

In any case, there is no place in the sport for a goalie to get get run like that, regardless of who it is and what team he plays for, and the League has to take the appropriate steps to send the message that this will not be tolerated.
