I'm a little disappointed. When the Caps dropped BOTH their goalies, I thought we might be on the precipice of a revolutionary full-game powerplay approach.

No. And our D prospect pool has 3 first rounders in the last 2 years in it. Plus 3-4 NHL projected guys. 4 years of this mope in the way is a bad move regardless of dollars.

I can only hope that Jarmo is working on a C trade and is going to have to let Bean and/or Boqvist go and we need a big guy to eat minutes. Stats-wise he's pretty close to Savard and we miss him.

That reminds me of when Calgary signed Engelland and we all thought it was like 2.75 for 3 years and not per year.

Yeah Karma can be a beeyotch. Ottawa needs a top 4 RD if they really want to make some noise this year. I could see Dorion thinking JMFJ is that guy. Yes, I KNOW he's a LD.
