Scouting reports i have heard on Mafah are that if a team can get him to run more of a one cut style he might end up being pretty good. He had some big holes in college, and when there's no hole he tends to dance a bit to much instead of putting his foot in the ground and getting downhill. He's a big explosive kid, he could be a load if he does

I would rather see Mafah get a legit shot rather than watch a washed up injury prone vet stink it up. They can keep one vet to help mentor the two rookies. I like what Mafah and Blue bring.Scouting reports i have heard on Mafah are that if a team can get him to run more of a one cut style he might end up being pretty good. I agree, the last thing I want to see is Sanders taking a RB spot over Mafah. Williams is fine.I would rather see Mafah get a legit shot rather than watch a washed up injury prone vet stink it up. They can keep one vet to help mentor the two rookies. I like what Mafah and Blue bring.
I also want Toia to come in and take Mazis starting spot. Toia don't get washed out of plays like Mazi does. I think Toia can beat out Mazi if he gets a legit shot..
Ravel can take Diggs spot in 2026. I would love to see Diggs come back and be the player he was 3 years ago. I just doubting Diggs regains form. Injury waiting to happen
Before the draft I had a lot of negative feelings and then they had a great draft. The future of the team going forward looks better.
They still need to sign a receiver. It is Lamb and nothing after that.
No. I just want Mazi to improve and add Tola to the mix. That would be awful if Mazi does not succeed.I would rather see Mafah get a legit shot rather than watch a washed up injury prone vet stink it up. They can keep one vet to help mentor the two rookies. I like what Mafah and Blue bring.

We need someone to step up because if no one does and we are lucky enough to have games matter at the end of the year, we are just going to get run out of the building again. Based on pedigree, Mazi is the most likely to step up. You would think he's done nothing but work out and try t again strength all offseason, but who knows. With a 7th rounder like Tia, he looks the part, but you are lucky if they make the 53 year 1. That being said I still have high hopes for Justin Rogers. I still don't know why they cut him. He seemed like a guy who was going to contribute to me. Jordan Phillips sure didn't - although he seemed like a good acquisition at the time. I think Rogers plays some NT snaps for us unless we sign/tradefor another vet.No. I just want Mazi to improve and add Tola to the mix. That would be awful if Mazi does not succeed.
Mazi has a long way to go. He was among the least double teamed NT's in the NFL while Osa was among the most often double teamed 3T's. A NT cannot be consistently handled by one blocker if you want to run the football. IMO, he needs to add weight and strength, which is crazy, because strength was supposedly his calling card in college. It was crazy to me that he dropped all the weight as a rookieWe need someone to step up because if no one does and we are lucky enough to have games matter at the end of the year, we are just going to get run out of the building again. Unless we bring in another vet, it's either a 7th rounder or Mazi. So, if I had to pick, I'm picking Mazi. I'm not looking for him to earn his first round grade. At this point I'd be happy with just not being one of the worst starting DTs in the league. Year 3, Another new DC and scheme. We need the 3rd time to be the charm because as of today, we didn't throw any real resources at the position again. Looks like Eberflus will be more like Marinelli with his DTs than Zimmer or Quinn. Maybe if he has Mazi in a more penetrating Marinelli type role than gap control that both Zimmer and Quinn used it will help. Who knows and that is assuming Eberflus will still have that philosophy this year. If nothing else, I think we will just throw a bunch of bodies out there in a rotation. If you don't have great players, at least have fresh players...Mazi has a long way to go. He was among the least double teamed NT's in the NFL while Osa was among the most often double teamed 3T's. I think if they play it straight, JT beats out Mazi as the starter. JT will be a 2 down player and he offers no pass rush. What he will do is stuff the run on early downs. I feel confident he can do that better than Mazi todayUnless we bring in another vet, it's either a 7th rounder or Mazi. So, if I had to pick, I'm picking Mazi. Very, very well said. Before the draft I had a lot of negative feelings and then they had a great draft. The future of the team going forward looks better.
The Cowboys finally got back to doing things the right way this offseason. They did sign free agents that can play, and they didn't reach for need like the previous two drafts. Most everyone here is happy with them taking Booker, while nationally all you hear is they should have gone WR. I was ecstatic they didn't reach. It resulted in a great draft.Very, very well said.
Let's see if we can stay positive. I just know what we have in front of us and the task seems impossible, at this point, because we have sunk so low.
