I think Mazi got some bad instruction early on. He was a 339 pound power player. He was slow getting off the ball, and in an effort to get quicker, he came in at like 298, and lost his superpower. He was still a little slow, but now he was weak as well. The best thing he could do, IMO, is get back to 330-335 and at least shut down the run
I am in. I want mazi to succeed. I mean hell who here don't

100% right. If Mazi and Guyton took big jumps this season, we would be a 12-13 win team. Those are critical spots. Just skeptical of both players
If we are going off of recent history it ain't gonna happen. Not sure what happened to Mazi. I am hoping it was coaching.

Guyton I have little less upside built in as I have heard the word lazy to describe him. That never seems to translate from potential (like he was) to successful.

I hope I am wrong as it would be another pick of "what could have been".

These last few months have won me over to the optimistic side but I still have negative experiences with these two. If they were 3rd rounders I wouldn't be putting up such a stink about them.

I agree on both. Im hoping and new coaching staff gives both kids a second chance that they jump on. Guyton had to grow up. If he does, we are in great shape. If he starts the BS, I think he will sit. We have an OC that was an OL coach who would start the player with the best effort and physicality with the Cardinals, draft status didn't matter. If Guyton pulls the same bullcrap Richards will take his spot.
Tyler Guyton finished ranked 115th of 140 OT's per PFF. Mazi finished 207th of 219 DTs. The good news is, the only way is up

As much as possible lol. The good news woth both kids is i think they are capable. Mazi needs to get his weight back up and be a power player like he was in college, and Guyton needs to grow the Hell up. Both are doable

I have hope right now. Let's see as time progresses. Coming out of training camp they better be fired up and out to prove they are capable of their draft status.
