That and the rumors that the Panthers have contacted Vrabel.
Mike McDaniel is coaching for his life in Miami
The Saints have supposedly had internal meetings about offering Ben Johnson $10M+ to take over the Saints.

Every team in the first ten of the 2025 Draft have crap that's floating around the internet.

More than likely, 98% of it is pure media speculation. But as we all know, "Where there is smoke, there has to be a fire."

Mike Vrabel interviewed with the NY Jets for the HC position this past week. Woody was pretty excited about the fact that he'd been able to talk with three of the guys that he wants to coach his team. Vrabel put the brakes on everything because he was supposedly waiting to see if the Patriots moved on from Jerrod Mayo. Question?? Did Mike Vrabel know that Mayo might get the axe and was interviewing with the jets as a backup??

Question #2 - Don't the Patriots have to interview at least two minority candidates??? just asking.

Yes pretty sure the Pats have to find a token minority to interview, but it could be Slema Hyak that rule is so stupid

Problem child, no thanks, not that Mia would ever trade him within the division anyway.

Why did Mia make this clown a captain in the first place?

He's never happy. So what now he'll want to go to this years SB winner?

Though it would be nice to have a player of his talent in NE, I don't think the juice is worth the squeeze with this jack ass.

Tuesday, January 7, 2025. NE Patriots interviewed Pep Hamilton and Byron Leftwich today. Brian Flores has not been requested but would help the Patriots meet the minority requirements of the NFL. Mike McCarthy is also available.

Interesting thing happened in Chicago. Bear have already asked Ben Johnson about his ability to lead. Rumors have been that Johnson interviews very badly and hasn't been considered to be very strong in his leadership role. Bears will be talking to McCarthy, Vrabel and several others along with Johnson.

The Patriots have currently interviewed, or are set to interview, Ben Johnson, Mike Vrabel, Byron Leftwich, and Pep Hamilton for the head coach opening. If they would like to meet with Flores, they can do so virtually on Jan. 16 due to his Vikings playing in the Wild Card round this weekend.

“These head coaching requests are an honor, certainly, that I definitely don’t take that lightly,” Flores said Tuesday. “I look forward to having those conversations and talking to people about my football journey, my leadership journey.”
