Might as well get this off my chest here.

Illinois seemed as poorly prepared for its game against Kentucky as just about any team I've ever seen in the tournament.

So far, the SEC is in the best shape of any league in both the men's and women's tournaments. Seven teams are still left on the men's side, and they are spread over all four regions. At least one team is guaranteed to make the Elite 8 since Kentucky & Tennessee square off against each other in the Midwest. Five more teams could advance, since Alabama is in the East, Florida & Arkansas are on opposite sides of the West, and Ole Miss & Auburn on opposite sides of the South.

The Big 10 only covers 3 regions with 4teams, but could still land 4 teams in the Elite 8 since Maryland sits alone in the West, Purdue in the Midwest, and Michigan & Michigan St. are on opposite sides of the South.

The Big 12 also has 4 teams spread among 3 regions. BYU and Arizona are on opposite sides of the East, with Texas Tech in the West, and Houston in the Midwest. All 4 have a chance to reach the Elite 8.

The last conference left on the men's dockets is the ACC, with a lone representative of Duke in the East.

The SEC still has 6 teams spread over four regions in the women's tournament, with the winner of the Tennessee vs Texas game guaranteed a trip to the Elite 8 in the Birmingham-3 region. South Carolina is alive in Birmingham-2, LSU & Ole Miss on opposite ends of Seattle-1, and Oklahoma in Seattle-4. A total of 5 teams could advance to the next round.

The ACC has 4 teams left in 3 regions, but only 3 can advance to the next stage since North Carolina & Duke face off in the Birmingham-2 region. N.C. State is alive in Seattle-1 and Notre Dame in Birmingham-3.

The Big 10 has 3 teams left in 3 different regions. Maryland in Birmingham-2, UCLA in Seattle-1, and USC in Seattle-4.

The Big 12 has 2 teams left in 2 regions: TCU in Birmingham-3 and Kansas State in Seattle-4.

UConn in Seattle-4 is the only Big East team left alive.

I only stated to you that quad 1 isn’t the only criteria lol. Care to try debate that?
It is when half your games are quad 1 and you went 1-13. You guys beat garbage and got handled by every single decent to good team you played.
