The Q
Hoop’s Villain, Reality’s Hero
Disagree. That clearly wasn’t over the back. I see harder fouls on every missed free throw not go called.
It should bencalled more if anything
That was perfect positioning by the hou player

I’d call it out then as well. I don’t even feel bad for the players. I’m pissed the referees robbed us of a last second possession to win the game due to a shitty call. At least Houston had momentum and probably deserved to win anyway. You know If the roles reversed, Duke is getting that whistle all day,

It should’ve been Houston making that shot.We actually still had it

That call was NOT why Duke lost period. Proctor makes his FT and James actually throws the inbounds pass to Duke this wouldn't have been an issue. Was it a bad call, imo yes, yes it was but in reality it DID NOT effect the game. Houston won the game and Duke choked it away. Officials did not have Houston go on a 21-8 run to end game.
Was I drunk watching this game? Absolutely! But Duke choked the game away that call (although I get why it will get all the "noise") is a no issue imo
I was also drunk. Made some bad decisions. I blame Duke
All NCAA fans the morning after a historic, epic, never-to-be forgotten Duke choke

Well you are a tigers fan... So... Don't go blaming this on Duke![]()
And Pistons and Red Wings and Browns. Glutton for punishment.
Getting tested probably made Florida survive a bracket that was a group of death. UCONN and certainly Texas Tech both could have beaten Florida but Florida just closes people out.I think the weak ACC helped wreck Duke. Teams from pathetic conferences usually fall. Gonzaga every year. Kentucky in 2014-15 with eight future NBA players from an anemic SEC. Undefeated but lost to an inferior Wisconsin. Indiana State in 1978-79. Independent DePaul would go into every NCAA with 2-3 losses and lose their first game. Houston's Phi Slama Jama teams played in the SWC which was Arkansas and seven dwarves. Only team from a weak conference to win post Wooden UCLA, was UNLV in 1989-90. Ridiculously talented team. Even then, the same team lost in the next NCAA. You have to be tested in February and March and no ACC team could hang with Duke. Lost one to Clemson, kind of an "oh well" game. Running through the ACC (and the NCAA) like Patton through France came back to bite them last night
Florida had to beat two top 10 teams to win the SEC. Duke could have suited up the cheerleaders and won the ACC. It makes a team tougherGetting tested probably made Florida survive a bracket that was a group of death. Houston would have won either way.I’d call it out then as well. I don’t even feel bad for the players. I’m pissed the referees robbed us of a last second possession to win the game due to a shitty call. At least Houston had momentum and probably deserved to win anyway.
I think so too. As it happened, it was handed to them though.Houston would have won either way.
