Can you give me a list of high character 24 yrs olds that are still available so I'll get an idea who we'll pick on day 3.

My individual pick grades.

Barron A+
Harvey C
P. Bryant B
S. Jones A
I am well aware you know way more about the draft than I do. I am seeing a lot of skepticism toward both Harvey and Bryant on MHR, more toward Harvey. The words "reach" and even "bust" are already being thrown about. This kind of emotional and uninformed overreaction is one of the biggest reasons I don't really get into the draft.

First off let's remember how wrong draft "experts" often are. I thought there was speculation Sanders would be among the top 5 drafted and at this rate he'll be lucky to make the top 5 rounds. Or how about our own Bo Nix, who experts labeled a reach last year, despite the Broncos very obvious need for a QB? The truth is we do not know how or where the Broncos or any other team valued these players. And in Harvey's case the threshold for being a successful pick is actually not that high. In Bryant's case from what I can discern he can become a great possession receiver as well as a key blocker in our run game. These two seem like complementary picks.

I'd like to see us draft a TE if a suitable option remains. I think getting some depth there behind Engram is vital, but overall I am satisfied with this draft so far.

Yes sir! Draft grades really mean nothing. I mean they are fun to predict and we all have our own opinions but that is what is fun about the draft.

I hope they all end up A pluses.

I think the Pat Bryant pick is so underrated. Many will dislike. I am actually surprised he wasn't loved more in the draft process. Very good college career. Under recruited. Wasn't the "flashy" pick but I think at the same time he is if that makes sense.

He is going to go well with Sutton, Franklin, Mims.

If anything he may hurt Vele a bit.

Hearing Deion Sanders told teams he wanted Shedur to have his own reality TV show and wanted all of his consultants and training people to be added to the team staff if they drafted Sanders.

NFL teams don't like to be told what to do and coaches don't like when players try to be heavily involved at any level of the game.

There is more too.

I can’t say much but I can tell you there is good reason he fell and it has to do with demands given to teams prior to the draft. Nobody wants to deal with a player who thinks they are bigger then the game. Deion Sanders was my favorite player growing up and I hope Shedur makes it big but given what I know I can see where teams are staying away. No one player is bigger then the game.

There's still a good chance that the Raiders take Sanders and sit him behind Geno Smith. I could definitely see this happening in round 4.

To be clear, I was not calling you out for your draft grades. We tend to be a lot more level headed here than the crowd over at MHR.

Also, I am not remotely surprised about Sanders especially if someone was saying nonsense about reality shows etc. If I'm a team and I detect an ounce of anything that isn't winning football games (aside from basic life goals, these kids aren't robots) I'm not interested. I wonder how much of this will become more common though. The NIL and Transfer portal has essentially transformed college into a semi-pro league. Athletes coming out of college with more money than I'll earn in 10 years! And at that age, the flashiness is important for a lot of these kids. I'm sure money has always been a distraction to young athletes after they are drafted, but now and moving forward it's becoming one before too.

I'm sure over time the entire dynamic will be up ended. Players more concerned about marketing themselves than winning, etc. We've already seen this as it is, but I'm sure it'll grow more common.

I love what Prime has done for Colorado. But the best thing he could have done for his son was to let the film do all the talking.

Oh I know. I didn't take it that way at all. Not even for a second.

Was happy to see my guy Nick Martin get drafted in Rd 3 to San Fran.

Some of my favorite personal players still hanging around for day 3 including Ollie Gordon, Isaiah Bond, Xavier Restrepo, Trevor Etienne, Jay Higgins, every Florida guy in the draft and of course George Steiner remains on the board 30 years later.

The Raiders just selected a 6’4 wide receiver that ran a 4.340. Played for Tennessee and his name is Dante Thornton. His tape makes him look like an unpolished diamond.

Was really hoping for a stud TE in this year's draft but I'm not sure what's left out there. With only two picks left, the Broncos should just be all about Best Player Available.

Signing Ingram is a blessing but we're going to need a big bodied, tight end that can open up the middle of the field passing game at some point. In terms of position, this was the one I wanted to address the most. Oh well, BPA is the best way to go anyway.
