Eagles lost their great center and added Barkley and won the Super Bowl. The Cowboys won 3 Super Bowls in 4 years, but when 22 held out, we went 0-2. We had an offensive like when Dak got here that had 3 HOF offensive linemen(Fred won't be, but he certainly was) and never won shit. You better get a RB
Eagles OL last year was a mile better than anyone else's in the league.
Center has been a Pro Bowler, Dickerson has been a Pro Bowler teh last tw oseasons and both Tackles are All Pro. Plus a lot of people thought Becton played at a Pro Bowl level last year. Saquon is elite, but even Rico gets 1,500 yards if he plays FT behind that line. Miles Sanders went from a Pro Bowler in 2022 to almost getting cut by Carolina in 2023.

But, yes we also need to get better at RB

I kind of like this one but doubt it happens:

Wouldn't be shocked if Williams and Sanders are our guys.

It's chicken and egg. You need both. Plus our new head coach LOVES two TE sets. I'll stop there before I get in trouble lol

Been hearing a lot about the Jets moving on from Breece Hall. This one I'd do.

Throw a dart at your draft board and your hitting on a need. So just pick your best player

Yeah, I think Hall could be a monster here and get back on track, especially with his pass catching ability and we're not getting Jeanty unless we trade up. I read another one that had us trading Parsons with the Browns for the number 2 pick and getting Hunter, that one sounded pretty wild to me.

I'm sure Cleveland would love that. Parsons and Garrett rushing the passer? Yikes

I think you have to have both, but the back makes the bigger impact. I think football is all about matchups. When you have a great back, it forces the defense to put another guy in the box, which helps the QB(and the line) in the passing game.
I think it's kind of like why the talk of trading Micah is so ridiculous. You can't just post Micah's numbers and say here is what he is. He makes the secondary better by making the QB have to consistently get the ball out quickly. He helps every other player on the DLine by drawing double and triple teams all game long. Take that kid off the team and a lot of the other guys we depend on are going to suddenly have down years

The big problem with the offense early last season was all the pressure allowed by the offensive tackles. Steele and Guyton were terrible against the better pass rushers. Martin also was playing injured and he was allowing a lot of pressure up the middle. Dak had no time to throw.

Maybe they coach up Guyton and Steele plays like he did pre injury.
Here's the problem i have with guyton. He sucked. We were sold a bill of goods. But he was a "project" supposedly future dominant pick. I don't give him a pass and he gonna have to be double good to make up for last year. Same with mazi. I don't see him ever getting outta that hole with me.

Steele really surprised me with his play last year.

I love our center and use him as an example to my son on what it means to be a good teammate. Showed him videos with his mom taking snaps. Doing what's best for the team.

This is the sport where the word team has the most impact and everything revolves around each other.

Agreed we have to have both. I would live for this jeanty kid to wear a star.

Yeah man, that would be amazing. I never thought he would make it to 12, not with the resurgence of teams using the run game. I'm not even opposed to taking Hampton at 12 like I once was. At the start of the process, I thought why not take Henderson in round 2 or Judkins in round 3. Now i firmly believe the top 4 RB's will be off the board by 44 and the top 7-8 will be gone by the time the 3rd round roles around. If we want a difference maker, not just a guy, I think we have ro act in the first couple of rounds

Both Mazi and Guyton (and Schoonmaker for that matter), were all NEED picks. That's why i hate the approach.
Take WR...I see a lot of talk of taking McMillan at 12 and if we miss on him, take Golden..I would love McMillan because I have him in my top 8 players overall. But I think Golden is low 20's. So even if he is the 2nd best WR on your board, we are gonna skip all those other position players between McMillan and Golden? Not me. And I get crapped on for saying if Jeanty is gone, I would strongly consider Warren. I understand TE isn't our biggest need, but i have that kid 6th overall. So it's better to take the 15th best because he is a corner? Whatever. Of course, everyone but me is really right about that because of how shitty this franchise is run. They aren't going to spend money in FA to fill holes. They are going to try and force 5-6 rookies into the lineup. All I have to say when folks say, yeah, but Mazi is a starter and so is Guyton....is they shouldn't be

Got a tip this morning that Cowboys have concerns about who is going to lead the O line room. They have picked more offensive lineman through 3 rounds than any team so I find this intriguing. He’s a high character guy and they have put a lot of emphasis on building their trenches. If they can’t find a trade partner to go down this isn’t that wild of a move with Zabel but I know fans will lost it if the WRs there

If they take this kid at 12 it will be to play guard. You aren't playing LT in the NFL with 32" arms. You're just not. So, if that's their highest rated guy then that's who they should pick, but if they take Zabel here over someone like McMillan or other possible OLinemen like Simmons, Banks or Booker they are setting themselves up for massive criticism if he busts. I havent seen this kid as high as 12 anywhere

If this is what we are looking at and McMillan is off the board when we get on the clock I might join the trade down group because I don't want Golden and there are OL I like better than Zabel. I read Seattle likes Zabel a few times yesterday and today. Ughhh. Extra interesting because Seattle with their two second rounders is the most likely trade down partner unless we just move a couple spots. Would suck if we trade down with them and they take Zabel and we end up with Golden. Maybe our 1st (#12) and both of our 5ths for their 1st (#18) and the second of their two 2nd rounders (#52)? I would hate missing out on a top 10 type player by dropping down but I am really worried we are looking at Golden. I just read it everywhere. Maybe if we drop down someone will "steal" him from us!!!

I would be fine with taking Zabel at 12 as long as it is because they love him as a player. I would rather do that than trade down and hope he is still there if he is the target. We darn sure know Jerry has been dropping bread crumbs about taking an OL over a RB for a week or so now. Will be interesting if a trade pans out. Could happen after let's say a team like the Jets gets their guy (Jeanty?)

NO GOLDEN!!!!

I agree
Time to put our money where our mouth is. I personally think the guys I want most, Jeanty, McMillan and Warren, will all be long gone by 12, so the guy I would take for the Cowboys at 12 tonight.....
Kenneth Grant, NT, Michigan. An absolute monster who will be a dominant player at a position we need a massive upgrade
