if there is no other signing or a trade then Dallas has two early must needs. CB and WR. It is hard for me not to make a case it will also be a coin flip as to best players. Love the LB, he could be the coin flip.

I still hope pick 12 is desired by two teams, but I think I'll be happy with the selection at 12.

If Dak goes down early I would go into tank mode and address QB in 26. Howard I admit made a lot of nice throws to Egbuka..

TBH I have a QB I'm mind to draft in 26 and he will be playing for Texas this year. Lol. I admit this is why I don't want to draft a Qb in this draft.

I am open to drafting a Qb in five, but Howard likely will be gone.. this is what angers me about trading away that 4th round pick. If they trade down and get extra picks then I am more open to drafting a QB.
I heard something on Manning this morning I hadn't thought about, no Manning had ever left school before their Sr year, and that was before NIL. They are big believers in number of college starts. I dount he comes out

That's an excellent flier. Kid has tremendous talent, let him learn from Dak for a couple of seasons and see what you have
I'm on board. This is a good trade IMO. Now they need to add talent to the WR room . I like Egbuka a lot I McMillan is off the board. I do think the target at 12 is either WR or corner.

McMillan would be fantastic. Another guy i love at 12, but never see mocked that high is S Nick Emmanwori. 6'3", 220, 4.38 40, 43" vertical and a thumper. Like a cross between Sean Taylor and Kam Chancellor

I am warming up to McMillan. I can't wait to see the report on Jeanty tommorow.

I would be happy with Jeanty at 12, but I dont think it's the end of the road if the Raiders take him. It's a deep draft at RB, though I don't think the other two top guys, Hampton or Henderson, will make it to 44.

We can remove “QB” from the “needs” list...

Holy crap. I love this move. A+ for the Jones Boyz. If I am going to kill them for all the bad they do and don't do I need to give them credit for the good. This kid absolutely has starter talent IMO. Having him as a backup is a great move :thumb:

I've said from the beginning that I think McMillan is one of the top 7ish guys in the draft and one that I think changes our team the most. IMO he is head and shoulders the best WR in this class (I don't consider Hunter a WR) and WR is just about one of our biggest needs. The fit is just too good to pass up. I guess it's possible his 40 causes him to drop but I also think it is more likely that he is gone by #10. WR is usually a prime draft day position. But, i have no fear about not having a quality talent on the board when we pick as long as we don't force the position.

I don't see him getting by the Bears. Look at their offseason. They built up their OL, they already have their young QB and two WRs. Now they need a RB and their Offense is complete. Detroit uses two RBs constantly and I think Johnson will not be happy with just Swift. He goes there on day 1 or 2 for sure IMO

I do think Jeanty is a top 5 player. It would shock me if he is still there at 12 . I believe Jeanty will be a Raider and if the Raiders pass the Bears end up with him. This is why my focus has mainly been on other players.

Absolutely love this. Team still holding those top 3 picks and we have a cheap good backup for Dak (and eventual replacement) in the building. Sorry/not sorry Will Grier. This cancels out the Trey Lance trade to me - exact opposite feeling, capital given, contract, and best of all future investment and return.
