I think it would be dumb for the Giants to do this. Are you thinking Hunter starting a CB and helping at WR like sanders did? I do think Hunter is a stud as a WR. Would love to see Hunter in the lineup with Lamb.

Hunter is a better WR than corner, but I think, yes, he would be like Deion, full time CB, part time WR.
I think if Sanders goes at, it is possible. I don't think Dart is going that high, but they desperately need a young QB. If they made the deal with Dallas, they could take a high impact player at 12, and then have the 35th and 44th overall pick as well. They could take Dart at 12, or take a good player at 12 and 35 and go QB at 44. They have more needs, I think they might...if Sanders isn't there at 3

Carter also in a second which is why it's a definite for me. Ward is going top 2 so you are guaranteed either Carter or Hunter. Imagine Carter and Micah?

I would do this trade. Carter also makes sense. This would allow them to move Micah around. Micah is a terror as a blitzing LB. I think Micah could then split time as a LB/edge and he would not be as gassed later in games. Hunter though looks like a perennial All Pro and is who I would take

That's intersting for sure. I think the Browns are the key. A lot of rumors that they will take Sanders at 2. I think the Giants might take Sanders if he is there, if not they might be interested in trading back, adding picks, and taking a guy like Dart....around 12....lol

I don't think the addition of a stop gap QB like Wilson would stop the Giants from taking a QB early. But like you say they may be more apt to trade back if Ward and Sanders are off the board.

Corner is a spot where there will be a guy that's awfully good available at 12. Will Johnson hasn't ran yet, so there are concerns about his speed, but not for me. He's a heck of a player, and might be there. Barron from Texas might not be on the Cowboys radar because he is just under 5'11" and they tend to like bigger corners, but he is a great football player IMO

Question, without argument if you will...let's say that we spent a 2nd or 3rd this year on a QB, doesn't have to be Howard, it can be anyone. If the kid did develop into say, a Bo Nix level starter in a few years. Not Jayden Daniels, but solid. How many 2nd or 3rd rounders we have drafted the last 10 years would be more valuable than that, especially in a couple of years when we can get out of Daks deal? So do you not like the player, or is it the idea of drafting QB that you don't agree with?

Honestly. I don't think Nix nor even Daniels at this time have arrived as any kinda NFL QB benchmark. Not after 15,16 or 17 games I don't. Think about it, what were folks saying about Prescott after his rookie year? It was a lot more good than bad back then in 2016/2017.

(213 to 82 career TD to Int. ratio) Yes, he's been hurt in 3 seasons, and yes, his int right before halftime of the GB playoff game was a horse shit play. He makes a shit load of money, and it is a professional league, and he certainly has played to a top 10 level. It is Groundhog Day with you this offseason in regard to the QB of this team. I get it, time to move on. This team has committed to him for 2 to 3 years like it or not. I think this team could easily be a playoff team this year.

I think a 3rd day QB is required in this draft. I prefer the Illinois and Indiana QB over Howard.
Howard flashes and has the arm. He also has a two cent head and rattles easily in my opinion. He was horrible against Michigan and set the tone with the early int on a sideline route that was never open. Howards combine effort was erratic at best. Nervous? To amped up? Now, he could easily become a NFL starter cause I believe highly in players procressing and regressing... but Howard in the top 100 is a reach.

Fair enough. If you aren't a fan of the player, I certainly can see why you wouldn't want to spend a 3rd on him.
The reason I like Howard so much...I freaking HATE the Ohio State. Can't stand them. And he played poorly against Michigan (in fairness, i would take Graham and Grant for Michigan over Osa and Mazi in a blink), and I think the pressure in his face hurt him, as it does many QB's. I thought the guy was a smartass as well. But watching their last 3 playoff games, against good defenses with NFL players...he played awesome. They have great talent for sure, but that kid played great. Put the ball on the money, had accuracy and arm strength, toughness, and his smart ass came off as highly competitive in those games. I liked him, actually, for a lot of the same reason I liked Dak coming out, tough and mobile and made plays

You're right about the compensation as fsr as fair in the point system. But I think they will keep the pick because I don't think they getting a 1st, 2nd and next years 2nd or 3rd for a non QB. I could certainly be wrong though

I think trading up for Hunter would be a smart idea. It makes sense in a lot of ways. In most drafts though,this FO does not do what makes sense or is smart.

I think it would be fun to think of some draft scenarios that some fans might be outraged by. This FO likes to telegraph what they are going to do.

I think there is a real chance Dart is very much in play for the Cowboys at pick 12. Dart at 12 would be boom or bust. I can't really tell what to expect.. NFL arm and has mobility. He makes all the throws. Good accuracy . He probably would excell in a role in shottys scheme .

Some people might say we can't take a QB because we have so many other needs. I think you have to be willing to at least Consider taking a QB in round 1 if you feel like that guy can be a solid starter. How can you not? Dak makes $60M per year. Is he twice the player Lamb is? Is he worth $20M per year more than Micah? FFS, no. He makes that money because QB is so important. And we have literally no backup QB. To me, it comes down to how you see the player. Can he be a really good starter? I think Dart could be, so he is a guy i would consider. It all comes down to your board. You shouldn't sugar coat your board. Write down every pick like you had every pick in the draft and put them exactly in the order you see them and stick to it. JMO

Tell that to the Packers when they drafted Love when Rodgers had 5-6 more years in the league left. Or when they drafted Rodgers in round 1 when Favre was still playing a high level. Or tell it to yourself when we give Dak $40M because we have no one to replace him and then give Dak $60M per because we had no one else...and who said we need the player to REPLACE him today? He just missed his second season in the last 4 with a leg injury. Do you think he's playing 68 games the next 4 years? Do you want Will Grier to step in when he does? And where did I say we should draft a QB in the first 3 rounds? If you go back and look at the original context, it was just like the TE talk...I said we should CONSIDER it, if they are the BPA. And on the TE idea, which you also won't consider...are you sure we don't have aa need? If memory serves, Dalton Schultz was here and coming off two better seasons than the last two Ferguson had...and we didn't pay him, did we? Will they pay him if he has another season like this one? I kinda think the team sees it as a need. Didn't they want Kyle Pitts a couple of years ago in round 1? Didn't they take Schoonmaker in round 2 when Ferguson was coming off a better year than last??? And Schoonmaker has been a bust. So there's that...
