i don't really know but the post sounded red flag. Dallas really needs to avoid players who could take themselves off the field.
I agree with that, my favorite Cowboy ever was Bill Bates lol. Seems like we pass on a lot of high effort guys(TJ Watt comes to mind). The only reason I give this kid a partial pass is Kentucky played the kid a whopping 535 snaps this season in 13 games(at 355 pounds). For comparison, Mazi Smith has played 304 snaps this season for Dallas in 16 games. So he could have a low motor or he might just be exhausted

but. All NFL teams rotate Inside fat guys much more so than college.

I still maintain Mazi is going to turn out NFL productive. Mostly because I think he's a prideful guy and has want too.

Gotta rip that 1st round pick Band-Aid off and make the most of what he can do.

Yeah I wasn't knocking Mazi, he played better the 2nd half of the year. I'm only saying that if we cut his snaps by 20 per game, he might be able to play all out on those plays, in which case he is a beast. Osa did play the same number of snaps per game as Walker, but at about 70 pounds lighter. I actually think Mazi might get kicked over to 3T next season to replace Osa, as I don't think we can give him $12M per year or more

I like both Grant and Walker. Grant is a great run stuffer. Grant would look great next to Mazi. A DT makes a lot of sense in round one. Grant is huge and knows how to use that wingspan to shed blocks. And with Barkley with the Eagles they need to seriously consider Grant. These tight wads not paying Osa and I am ok with that. I get tired of these players that play well during their contract year and then become shitty after their pay days. It happened over and over lately
Grant would look good next to Osa with Mazi on the bench in a backup rotation role

Losing Osa this offseason would almost be like losing two DT's. He played as many snaps as Mazi and Joseph combined. I think Osa, Jourdan Lewis and Dowdle are all must resigns. There's no way we lose those 3 and improve by mainly using the draft

If we continue to ignore free agency we will continue to get worse every year, It isn't possible in the long run to improve or even stay the same when all other teams in the league are using both the draft AND free agency to better their teams and we just use half of the player acquisition avenues available to us. If this past offseason and season didn't send a message to the idiots that run our team, nothing will.

Yep, that's why this offseason will tell us the truth once and for all about whether Jerry cares about winning anymore or if Stephen has swung him over to just saving money and screw the fans. Jerry has always been incompetent, but I never used to doubt that he wanted to win at all costs. We need a new coach and an active FA

I couldn't pull the trigger in round one but I sure could in round 2. I heard a scout say that he could be a bust but if he hits, he is somewhere between a clean David Irving and Chris Jones. Big risk/reward
I'm really leaning for Grant TBH if I had to pick between the two. Grant is a great prospect. Massive and clearly understands how to use those long arms to either gain leverage or bat down a throw. He also creates a lot of pressure as a pass rusher. He brings it. Yeah he is from Michigan but I don't care

Osa is going to sign elsewhere and I am good with that. Nice player, but they still can't stop the run and Osa is a part of the problem.

Yeah I have Grant as a late 1st, if he were there in the 2nd he would be a steal

They are currently at 13... The highest they can get is 12 with a loss.. they need need the colts to beat the Jags and lose their game move up to 12. The colts appear to be in tank mode though.

A win on the other hand would would probably mean they could draft as high as 15-17

Since these fools only use the draft it would be better to lose this game as sad as that sounds. This draft is top heavy compared to last draft.

yeah I looked at the records. Without knowing how tie breakers would work.
I saw from anywhere from 11th to 17th. The niners win & our loss would give same record but again dont know the tie breakers.

Niners beat us I would think that would put us ahead of them unless it's a three way tie.
