knowing JJ's draft history it wouldn't surprise me if JJ decided to draft a kicker at 12
I think there is a chance that one or even both will be there at 12. It could depend on how many teams in the top 10 are desperate for a QB. It could depend on who trades up into the top 10. They could easily trade down and pick somebody we are not even focused on.they know more than we do. if McMillian or Hampton is there at 12 i would run the pick to the Commish personally but the probability is both are gone by 12and wasting 12 on DT or even a OL makes no sense. that leaves finding a team wanting to move up and the Cowboys moving down and drafting the BA need at whatever pick they move down to
Solomon is a 3T, he will back up Osa and i think that sews that spot up. The only NT's we have are Mazi and Rogers. This is a good year to get a NT in the first 3 rounds.we had a lot of injures. i also believe we need a replacement for him which is why we signed Solomon Thomas in the offseason and hopefully we sign 1 or 2 in the later rounds (3-7) and concentrate on WR and RB first. I'm thinking we trade down in the 1st and go Egbuka in the 1st, Judkins in the 2nd and with the 2 0r 3 3rds we pick up go Farmer, Savion Williams, Norman-Lott and Ashton Gillotte
They have? So we not only know that the coaches and scouts like those players at 12 but have said it publicly?we don't know if JJ even likes them. we do know that the coaches and the scouts like them. they have said so
I have no issue with differing opinions and I've said over and over I don't think this team will do so. My only issue was saying that it isn't a big needi'm all for signing DT especially NT/DL1T but not at 12.

never said it was a need, i just said that there are 2 or 3 needs ahead of DT like WR#2, RB@1 and maybe even CBI have no issue with differing opinions and I've said over and over I don't think this team will do so. My only issue was saying that it isn't a big need
That's your proof? Now go match up last years list with our draft. We drafted a 3rd rounder and a 7th rounder that visited last year.Cowboys Top 30 National Visitor

those were chosen to meet the head coach and his staff's requestThat's your proof? Now go match up last years list with our draft. We drafted a 3rd rounder and a 7th rounder that visited last year.
And it differs from last year how?those were chosen to meet the head coach and his staff's request
you want to argue for the sake of arguing so i'll leaveAnd it differs from last year how?
I would bring ecstatic if they took Kenneth Grant at 12i'm all for signing DT especially NT/DL1T but not at 12.
Yep. I agree if they wait to the late round to draft an RB.I think a big way for them to screw this draft up is for them to wait till the 5th round to draft a RB.
Not impressed with the two backs they signed in FA. Maybe Sanders or whatever his name is does something. If the guy from Denver was so great the Broncos would have kept him
They need a dynamic back, not these guys past their prime. If they trade down maybe they add a real good one . This RB class is going to make a difference in the NFL .
These fools are almost forced to trade down because of that idiotic Mingo trade
we have 3 picks in the 1st 4 rounds so something we really need is either going to be picked in the late rounds or not at allYep. I agree if they wait to the late round to draft an RB.
I'm not arguing. You aren't answering the questionyou want to argue for the sake of arguing so i'll leave
i have answered you by showing the scheduled visits that the Cowboys have scheduled of the players that are on their lists, but you scoffed at it with "And it differs from last year how?" it differs in that last years list was 2024 draftees and this years are 2025 draftees but you knew that and got obstinate. you've got your favorites of who you want and don't respect that i want a different pathSo you are one of those face palm guys? Not surprised...Seems your style.
Was better for you when you were leaving...
Nice try. I literally just said I have no issue with different opinions like 30 minutes agoi have answered you by showing the scheduled visits that the Cowboys have scheduled of the players that are on their lists, but you scoffed at it with "And it differs from last year how?" it differs in that last years list was 2024 draftees and this years are 2025 draftees but you knew that and got obstinate. you've got your favorites of who you want and don't respect that i want a different path
I pointed out that your use of the 30 visits as who we will draft has little to do with who we will actually draft by using just last year as an example. So again, how is this year different from last year? Why will this years list be a harbinger of who we will pick?I have no issue with differing opinions and I've said over and over I don't think this team will do so. My only issue was saying that it isn't a big need
i give up you are looking for a fight and i just want to talk draft.Nice try. I literally just said I have no issue with different opinions like 30 minutes ago

You do know that teams often purposely do not call players they want in for a visit so they don't tip their cap on who they are looking at, don't you? You do know that they also meet with players at the combine (sometimes repeatedly) and at their Pro days don't you? You know that a lot of times it's just players they didn't feel strongly enough to speak to at one of those days or where they didn't even attend their Pro day or there was no Pro day that they call them in for a visit? The visits are nice, but you are overvaluing them. That was my point. I think it's obvious which of us is being obstinate in this case. Now go get those facepalms out
Huh?? Just talking about taking RB late will be mistake. I dont care about other needs taken later.. LOLwe have 3 picks in the 1st 4 rounds so something we really need is either going to be picked in the late rounds or not at all
