Actually like both of these signings. So glad they didn’t go with Harvin again. Bringing in Edmunds is a good move now as if they waited another team with safety injuries would have picked him up.

Edmunds is a good heavy strong safety. Great at run-stopping, but poor against the pass. As a third guy, I really like him.

Waitman is a much better pickup than Wing or Harvin.

I thought it was painful watching Waitman punt admirably for the Broncos while we were stuck with Harvin's inconsistent ass. He wasn't spectacular, but pretty good.

Edmunds signing is vulturous move but I love it. He was active for the Jags last week but they moved him to PS this week to manipulate their roster. Steelers swooped in immediately.

I seem to recall that Edmunds will now have to consume a spot on the 53. They haven't officially announced it, probably because of this fact. They will need to release someone. Matakevich, maybe

Glad they grabbed him quickly, not every day you find a 1st round gem available like this guy……

I think Edmunds' coverage abilities were a lot better than he got credit for. At least in his last couple seasons here. Granted he was working alongside one of the best in the business. He was exposed when he left and didn't have that anymore.

I liked what I saw from Elliot back there. Sort of over the Kazee experiment at this point.

Not sure whatever happened with Trenton Thompson. Thought that kid played well enough to earn another year.

Can.... can it be?

Is the timeline cleansing with the appropriate agenda? The real & factual based agenda like it should be?

Okay. So I'm on team Fields for now. I like enough of what I've seen that I think we need to keep him there. Some of those passes are just... elite. He has outperformed his stat line (as has Pickens).

He only played one game but was that good for me to have this reaction.

This blows, all those concerns about his knees leading up to the draft are now upon us……

It's now being reported that he's likely to miss the rest of the season.

Has it been confirmed that it is definitely related to the prior issues?

It's probably why he fell to them in the draft, but given his talent, it might have still been worth the risk where he was drafted.

In context, it does put his career in doubt a little bit, especially as it relates to him reaching his potential and justifying the mid-first round pick.

Seems like his season is over.

Hoping the surgery at the pro level is better than any medical attention at the collegiate level. Lets hope he can recover.

Only severe cases require surgery. Likely 8 weeks of rehab. Big men often need more time to recondition their strength. Seems doubtful even the postseason he might be able to return.

Wild stat… and I bet their blitz rate is bottom third as well. just dominating their 1 on 1’s with only 3-4 man rushes

Cory Trice to IR... ouch.

They were already thin enough.

1. JPJ
2. Jackson
3. Bishop
4. Rush
5. Pierre

Might have to call up Averett until Sutton returns off suspension.
