Starting this in case any M's fans want to talk about the playoffs.

Tigers are up 3-0 over the Astros. in the bottom of the 6th as I type this. Loving it.

I'm rooting for the Guardians and O's, but I'm very impressed with how awesome the Tigers have been and will be ecstatic if they take out the cheaters.

The Tigers beat the Astros, so the cheaters are 1 loss away from being eliminated.

Orioles and Royals in a tight one right now.

So nice to see the stros take it in shorts today. Would be so nice to see them eliminated.

I like the orioles, so rooting for them. And the Tigers are a no-brainer.

Over the NL, I like the Mets and padres.

I'm taking the afternoon off today and HOPE to see the Tigers eliminate the Astros. Game starts at 11:30. Then I hope to see the O's avoid elimination in their game against KC at 1:30.

What an incredible run by the Tigers! They had a 0.2% chance of making the playoffs in August and are now ALDS bound. They were 10 games out. Complete opposite of the M’s:

They just about won it all with Verlander, Cabrera and Scherzer. In fact they had (I believe i remember correctly) rain outs in 2 of Verlanders World Series games which both stopped him from pitching complete games and gave the opposing pitchers extra rest. I think things would have turned out different with better weather luck.

They still had an old white haired mean looking manager. But it was Jim Leyland not Sparky.
