BB is known for not talking contracts until the season is over. I don't see an issue. He'll be given a NE type offer if BB is still making the calls. After watching the Lions, Ravens, Eagles and ugh, Dolphins this past weekend, I'm becoming more and more convinced that this Patriots' team must draft offensive line help with the first two picks in the 2024 draft.
It won't matter if they draft the second coming of TB12. If they don't solidify the OL, he'll become the reincarnation of Mac Jones.
No one ever knows if the top OL in any draft will become John Hannah, Joe Thomas or Dustin Woodword. Right now the two guards are Siddy Sow and Atonio Mafi. If Mafi hadn't been called for holding, no one would have known he was playing RG. They both need a bit more time and better coaching. Owenu was at RT and he's said after the game that no one has talked to him about coming back next season.
Can anyone explain why not?? Too many people are worried about their asses and not about the team.
I too feel like if Maye and Williams are gone Daniels is the next logical choiceI would take Williams in a heartbeat. I read in the last 5 years the top 3 QB prospects to enter into the NFL are Trevor Lawrence.. Williams and Maye.
Williams stats are incredible. In 3 years he’s passed for over 10,000 yards. 93 Touchdowns to just 14 interceptions. Almost 1000 yards rushing and 27 touchdowns on the ground. Can improvise. Move around in the pocket like a veteran.
I’m taking him. But he will be gone by pick 4 which we are currently selecting. I’m going Daniels or top OL now. Nexts years draft of QB’s looks horrible. I love the wins. Makes me all tingly inside. But we did screw ourselves over.
What would a parlay of 16 0f these games being lost?Just a bit of info.
Top nine tems in the draft and who they close out the season against.
1. Carolina (CHI) - 2-13 - Jags, Bucs
2. Arizona - 3-13 - Eagles, Seahawks
3. Washington - 4-11 - 49ers. Cowboys
4. New England - 4-11 - Bills, Jets
5. NY Giants - 5-10 - Rams, Eagles
6. LA Chargers - 5-10 - Broncos, Chiefs
7. Tennessee - 5-10 - Texans, Jags
8. Chicago - 6-9 - Falcons, Packers
9. NY Jets 6-9 - Browns, Patriots
Patriots beat JetsWhat would a parlay of 16 0f these games being lost?
16 games have likely outcomes - but it almost never happens.Patriots beat Jets
Titans beat Texans
Bet $100 on it and the return would be about $225,000,000 for 16/18
I love to play KENO in Vegas or Reno.16 games have likely outcomes - but it almost never happens.
Used to be able to duct tape it to the inside of your thigh......Think you could stuff 250 hundreds in your levis and walk straight to the airport shuttle?
I don't remember you taping anything to the inside of my thighs.......Used to be able to duct tape it to the inside of your thigh......
So a RT when we need and can get a LT? And any Y over QB? I am leaning toward QB / TE the L or RT. Looking at guys like Patrick Pual and Jordan MorganI've made up my mind and am committed to my choices. Notice the Patriots now have the #3.
#3 JC Latham OT ALA
#35 Dr. Bo Nix QB ORE (If you're not watching the Fiesta Bowl you're missing a hell of a show. Nix has thrown for 247 yards and 4 TDs in the second quarter ) Yes that's Dr. Bo Nix PhD. He earned his doctorate this semester.
Isn't Latham the guy that tripped Milroe ending the Tide's bid for a national championship? If so, getting blown off the line during the most critical play of your career isn't a very good look.If the so called "experts" are correct, then Nix AND Penix will be available for the Patriots in Round 2 and McCarthy will be sitting home chewing his fingernails in Round 3.
I forgot that Latham was a RT, but it still works out.
#3 RT JC Latham ALA
#35 QB Bo Nix ORE
#67 LT Dominic Puni (6'5" 325) KAN
The OL would look something like this:
LT PUNI, LG Strange, C Andrews, RG Owenu, RT Latham
With that OL, I can easily see 10-11 wins,
Latham can play LT.So a RT when we need and can get a LT? And any Y over QB? I am leaning toward QB / TE the L or RT. Looking at guys like Patrick Pual and Jordan Morgan
After the Sugar Bowl, I think Penix stock goes up. Not sure he'll be a star in the NFL but he certainly projects to me to be a serviceable QB. I think he goes 1st round. If the so called "experts" are correct, then Nix AND Penix will be available for the Patriots in Round 2 and McCarthy will be sitting home chewing his fingernails in Round 3.

Like I wrote last week. It's amazing how quick the 'experts' can change their minds once the final four take the field. After the Sugar Bowl, I think Penix stock goes up. Not sure he'll be a star in the NFL but he certainly projects to me to be a serviceable QB. I think he goes 1st round.
