4/$92M $50M guaranteed.Signed with the Titans for a shit ton of dough.
Warmer than Foxboro, no state income tax. Patriots would had to offer $100M+ and build a domed stadium.

Again, Mayo stated not all the cap money needs to be spend in one year. Perhaps they are looking to next year FA, and as stated building through the draft. Anyone that thinks the Pats were turning into legit contenders this year are delusional. Keep a reasonable cap for rookies, potential vets this year and next makes a lot of sense to me.Patriots have $50M of their cap space remaining. Wolfe is talking to Kraft about rolling over some of it to 2025 which the league allows. They have to set aside money to pay for the drafted players.
IMO, rolling over money and not signing quality veterans will put the Patriots at the bottom of the AFCE again in 2024 and no one knows what 2025 will bring. Another Covid? World War? Depression?
If Wolfe is trying to save his ass at the expense of the team, it might be time to start looking elsewhere for a GM.
Hey dude. I know you have a lot of hatred for Boston now that you have moved to Florida but you are getting carried away.4/$92M $50M guaranteed.

Whether or not you see yourself this way makes no difference, but you come off as a spoiled Pats fan that feels as if the only way to win back your loyalty is to do things the way you think they should be done. You honestly, perhaps inadvertently do come off like that. Wolfe is retaining players he see's as contributors. We will have to see how he works the draft, but I would not expect to see this team near the top for two maybe three years.I don't hate Boston. I certainly don't like the Mass. Legislature.
You all want to wait until the draft? Please tell me how well Elliot Wolfe has previously drafted? His Father was great at it. Name a single team Elliot has built through the draft.
Please show me one statement I've made placing Mayo in my crosshairs.
I haven't shown any anger, yet, against the Patriots. I'm upset that Wolfe is watching every top free agent go elsewhere and not doing anything for the Patriots other than resigning Patriot players. Tyler Boyd is supposedly talking to the Chiefs, Steelers and Jets. Jonah Williams signed a three year $30M deal with the Cardinals. Wolfe couldn't have moved in and offered $12M a year to a starting LT???
Yeah, lets put aside $35M for 2025 and hope that Wolfe will be in the driver's seat for top free agents to fill the holes that will need filling. Or we can roll it over for 2026 and let him continue to build through the draft.
Politicians are politicians. No need to pick one group out.I don't hate Boston. I certainly don't like the Mass. Legislature
I do agree with the idea that moving the New England Patriots to New Hampshire could be beneficialPoliticians are politicians. No need to pick one group out.
Why can't this team be just like the Texans?I would not expect to see this team near the top for two maybe three years.
So your hedging you bets on an anomaly? NFL turn arounds do happen in one year from time to time but that is not the norm. The fact you even bring that up only makes my poiint. Why can't this team be just like the Texans?
3-12-1 in 2022
Huge turn around and playoffs in 2023.
Same circumstances. They had a new coach in 2023 and the GM was finally free of Easterby. Had some cap space. Patriots have the same opportunities and new people and cap space.
I'll be happy if they are 8-9. Right now they seem to be looking at 5-12 or 6-11 unless the owners go to 18 games.

Add in that coming off an terrible season grants an easier schedule the following season. How'd the Texans do in the playoffs? So your hedging you bets on an anomaly? FIFYNot even similar circumstances. The Pats do not have a Deshaun Watson to trade. The Pats have not been in rebuild mode with early round picks for the last two decades. The Texans made a solid choice with their #2 pick so kudo's to them on that. The Pats can do that too with #3 but you've already buried them before the draft.
