He played one game for them two years ago where he made 2 tackles for the season

He had some pretty good seasons in Dallas, sadly his body couldn't hold up.

This kind of seems like a "Whatever" signing lol. Maybe he'll be good for the locker room.

what legal issues? Was known he would face some sort of suspension and likely nothing criminal. Why once known not criminal pretty much every team needing a QB trying to win went after him.

To your question? I'd say no, if he was playing like he did in Houston the vast majority of fans would have been fine with him (assuming no more issues off field).

When dozens of women are pressing charges, that is considered legal issues. Need more clarification?

fine...i am the biggest homer, but you are a homer, thus the SportsHoopla sea of homers includes you.

I've already said I'm against folks that finger point and then flash the victim card.

Signing Hendrickson now to a massive contract would be a mistake. Course that seems to be the theme for the Bengals... hence Tee Higgins and quite possibly the dumbest/most puzzling draft picks in 2025.

If I was Hendrickson I'd be demanding out of that shit show. Bengals aren't winning anytime soon. The fact they're paying Higgins/Chase/Burrow that money is absolutely fuckin' ridiculous.

Well after the draft the Cowboys are out of the market for a player like him.
But if I am a team looking for that type of player. I would be all over trying to snake him from the Bengals.

I mean what options do the Bengals have? If you commit a big portion of your cap space to a few players you won't have the cap space to fill out a complete roster. Hendrickson is clearly underpaid but as pointed out earlier by other posters holding out will only end up costing him more money.

What a mess.

He's kind of in a sticky situation...

He'll be 31 in December. I know Garrett will turn 30 in December and the Browns just made him the highest paid DE but it's the Browns, nobody will use that as a reference point.

I mean at best he's probably looking at a 3 year $100M deal? Titans and Commandoskins could afford him, but I doubt either are giving up draft capital for him.

Bengals are getting a bargain at $21M this year and they know it. And then I just imagine they'll let him walk next year. I think they're counting on Stewart being his replacement in 2026 going forward (which is baffling to me but whatever).

I actually took a wait and see approach with the Duke Lacrosse situation, which was hard for a Maryland guy. But I am curious on your position. You have said repeatedly that not all of them lied. So that means some of the accusors were telling the truth. So why are you so focused on proving some lied when we both agree on that?

And more importantly why are you ignoring the woman who you have admitted probably were not lying as those are the only women who are important to the discussion?
If that's how I said it my apologies as I said it wrong.......should have just said we know some lied. Did someone not lie? Maybe? But if we are talking accusing him of criminal behaviour I wouldn't say I believe none lied as don't think he did anything criminal.

a pervert and pretty dumb (seeing all those different masseuses)? absolutely.

You called me a homer with regard to the debate I am having regarding D Watson.. Please explain that, that's not too much to ask.

And of course this is the pot calling the kettle black as others have pointed out. You have to be the biggest homer here.

I don't hold grudges but I am aware that you pick fights here constantly, just look at the last page of this thread, and I'm never afraid to call it like it is.
Have to say during that debate I never thought you were being a homer at all....and, really, think I agree with you more often than not.

dude...you're trolling an opinion for shock value.

nevermind what this guy has said about coming to Dallas. Nevermind he's said he's fine with playing the season on his final 3M year. Nevermind he knows he's in a better place to accumulate better stats in a contract year.

it was manster who said he has a better QB in Dallas, and got trolled for even thinking such a thought. Crazy...stephen a smith says so.
yeah comments like those are often exaggerated. Heard many Browns fans crush the Browns for bringing in Diontae Johnson. WTF? It's a no risk high reward move. If he's trouble and not performing? Dump him.

Pickens likely a far better player so for what they gave up for him why the hell not? Could it backfire? Sure.....but not out too much.

would expect nothing less, but what did I miss/forget in choosing whether to side with Browns or Commanders?

Well it was never answered... I mean I'd expect PDay to go against the Commandoskins but PDay is a bit of a wild card. He could be a rogue Skins fan under disguise.

Now, he could also just hate the Browns. It's difficult to tell dt... I think at this point it's appropriate for you to be on high alert, and I'll communicate intel as I have it..

Just shut the fuck up already. You really should stay out of a convdersaton where you do not belong. You add nothing, you just like to take shots like the little shit that you are.

@dtgold88 I think we're done here, we've both had our say and we've hijacked the thread enough. I still feel for Browns fans, a great fanbase that deserves better. But I stand by my comment, your team has hired a whole lot of assholes. And that would include one Deshaun Watson.

Peace.
Not sure who we hired beyond Deshaun that are more...uh.....ass-holy than other teams? also no doubt the Deshaun deal was a complete disaster, but had he not forgotten how to play football at age 26 I doubt many Browns fans would have cared about his past. I also wont rip my team for going after a guy at least a dozen or so teams badly wanted. In fact, glad to have an owner who lets the FO go all out to get a guy they want (yes, I believe it was FO more than Jimmy).

Can they get beyond it soon? Can only hope.

He chose the Browns cause it was fully guaranteed contract. Remember he turned them down and wanted to go else where till the Browns went full on stupid. Those other 9 teams but more realistically 4 teams in total were more on his radar than playing for the Browns.
He, in fact, turned everyone down but the Browns and why I'd prefer to just focus on what we know/the facts. we have no idea if another team would have offered same deal if given a chance.

I forgot to mention he had a no trade clause and only waived it for Miami until the Browns kicked in the fully guaranteed contract and boom trade to Cleveland and rest is history.
Maybe learned the facts before commenting? A dozen or so teams wanted to make offers for Watson when it was clear he was not being indicted. Watson approved of 6 of them (Browns included) and all 6 made offers to Houston that they'd accept in order to be granted the meeting.

He chose the Browns....we have no idea what other teams might have been willing to do for his services. Though with hindsight I wish he wanted to go elsewhere.
