Well it was never answered... I mean I'd expect PDay to go against the Commandoskins but PDay is a bit of a wild card. He could be a rogue Skins fan under disguise.

Now, he could also just hate the Browns. It's difficult to tell dt... I think at this point it's appropriate for you to be on high alert, and I'll communicate intel as I have it..
haha....but to be fair never considered this debate having anything to do with being a homer. Unless it's about something else other than watson?

I mean it's a Dallas fan dt... we have to exercise caution. Trust the process.

He's kind of in a sticky situation...

He'll be 31 in December. I know Garrett will turn 30 in December and the Browns just made him the highest paid DE but it's the Browns, nobody will use that as a reference point.

I mean at best he's probably looking at a 3 year $100M deal? Titans and Commandoskins could afford him, but I doubt either are giving up draft capital for him.

Bengals are getting a bargain at $21M this year and they know it. And then I just imagine they'll let him walk next year. I think they're counting on Stewart being his replacement in 2026 going forward (which is baffling to me but whatever).
I think if the idea that the Bengals window is based around Burrow/Chase/Higgins then the entire goal of the GM is to raise the floor of the team. In house the Bengals have drafted Ossai in the 3rd, Myles Murphy in the 1st and Shemar Stewart in the 1st. Hendrickson should have been traded.

Murphy was an absolutely retard level pick and so was Stewart...

I mean we're back to the Bungals... the level of implode by that team is quite amusing. No wonder chaney is done with em' and moving on to the Browns... which is.. eh whatever.

Murphy and Stewart are picks where if the Jaguars take them you expect them to completely fail but if the Eagles, Ravens, Chiefs, or Bills take them then you expect them to be pro bowl players. Ultimately thats how you have to keep up with teams like the Ravens. You have to draft well.

All the teams you mentioned (except the Jags and Bungals) have great locker rooms and leadership on their team.

If you take a person that has 'issues' you almost require a strong locker room.

Burrow was clearly fed up with the team last year, Chase probably doesn't give a shit, and Higgins? LMAO... that contract was still one of the dumbest moves this offseason and I 100% graded it an F.

Cincy's locker room is about as stable as a 18 year old semi hot chick browsing OnlyFans.

Damn. I looked up his contract.
I feel bad for him. he has played way beyond this contract.
his cap hit is 18.6 mil but his dead cap space is only 2.66 mil
tells you he has no guarantees this season. If something happens to him. He is simply ass out. After way outplaying his contract. I am normally against player holdouts. This is one, where I think Trey shouldnt touch the field until this gets resolved.

Yah. Sadly holding out though is also difficult because he'd be almost 32.

Eh maybe Cincy is trying to do him right. They just restructured Stone.

well I saw on TV these kind of negotiations dont typically happen in May, so hopefully they do him right. But I wouldnt be doing any physical activities until they get it ironed out. I dont see his age as something to worry about. Most contracts are structured for a realistic 3 years. fluff at the end of a 4 or 5 yr contract just to push the avg. up. teams are realistically on the hook for those 1st three years though. He was one of the best last year & has only gotten better every year.

Have to say during that debate I never thought you were being a homer at all....and, really, think I agree with you more often than not.
I have no idea where @PDay8810 was going here. I never once mentioned my team as we discussed yours so not sure why the word homer was used. As I said he just likes to pick fights and stir shit up for some reason.
