I feel like the Eagles move will be that the Giants move on from Thibidoux because they have Abdul Carter so the Eagles get him in a trade and he becomes DPOY

So there is talk actually that the Giants will take Carter at #3 overall then use Thibidoux to trade up and get their QB. I know they called the Broncos this week to gauge their interest in such a trade. It would be pick 34, 99, and Thibidoux for pick 20 type deal.

Very interesting, I could definitely see that happening, but I’m not sure if I would trade up for a QB in this year’s draft, I just don’t think any of them are worth trading up for really.

I would agree completely. At the same time QB is that position that we see teams get desperate. They don't want to be the one team left out without one. I wouldn't pull the trigger on any of these guys outside of Ward before the mid 2nd or even later, but coaches and GM's know their jobs are on the line if they don't get a QB figured out.

Yeah teams get desperate for QBs, but I wouldn’t trade up for one if I were the G-Men, even if it just means rolling with Russ all season and not having a QB of the future on the roster. This class just isn’t a great class for QBs, I’m not even 100% sold on Ward or Sanders who are seen as the two best, and I don’t think a QB like Dart is worth trading up for and I’ll laugh my ass off if some dumb team selects Milroe in round 1

I'm with you. I'm really glad that our two respective teams got our guy last year. I would hate trying to talk myself into any of these QB's.

They already got Azeez Ojulari from the Giants, so it would be like a premium version of the move they already made scavenging a pass rusher off of their bad team.

That makes sense.

I mentioned earlier that if there are only 13-16 first round picks then that 2nd tier of QBs looks attractive around picks 14-17. If the Broncos are looking at RB and TE and Jeanty, Loveland and Warren are all gone then it would take a ton of sense to move back imo

What about Hampton, do you think he’s worthy of a 1st round pick? I’m sure Jeanty will be gone by the time the Broncos pick but Hampton will likely still be there and RB is clearly the biggest area of need for the Broncos IMO. If he’s gone I think it would definitely make sense to move back but I think he’ll still be available. But I would not trade up for a QB in this year’s draft, and none of the QB prospects other than Ward/Sanders are first round caliber IMO. It would be a mistake to trade away draft picks to get someone like Dart or Milroe in the first round.

Broncos will 100% go for Egbuka.... clear as day pick and perfect fit for someone like Nix.

I think they're looking for a Joker and not a Robin

Somehow that sentence makes sense to me

No Jaxson Dart?

The Steelers could be interested in him at 21. They need a QB.

I thought about Dart going to the Steelers, but when I posted this I was assuming Rodgers would be signing with the Steelers, over the last week there’s been doubts about that happening now, which makes me think it’s likely the Steelers will take a QB. I had them going D-Line because they could use more depth there and Heyward is aging and they like having strong tough defensive fronts. But now with the doubts about Rodgers it’s looking likely the Steelers will be forced to take a QB, kind of like they had to with Pickett in 2022 and we see how that turned out.

thankfully this shit changes this time next week. watching some of you football einstein's spew the shit you've heard from some special podcast makes everything some how comical.

it's as if we all knew based on what we've read.
then reality sets in.

Go Opinion on what is what.

Just because Pickett didn't pan out doesn't mean Dart won't.

2 different players.

Agreed, I’m just saying that it’s not good to draft someone just because you feel you have to draft at that position - that’s what happened with Pickett, that QB class was one of the worst ever but the Steelers just felt they had to select one. I think Dart is a better QB than Pickett, Pickett just had one strong final season in college, before that he wasn’t even really thought of as an NFL prospect, Dart had 3 good years at Ole Miss and improved in each one, but I still doubt that Dart is worthy of a first round pick.
