Yeah, I'm not sure the Chiefs beat the Browns last year without the help of Winston
Yep....he will definitely have a couple games where the fans will think "hmmm...maybe he can be a longer term solution" but that wont last long.

But I'm pulling for the guy.

Yeah I highly doubt he’ll go in a high round. I don’t know when the next QB will go after Ward/Sanders, I kind of doubt one will be taken for a couple of rounds, but a team might take a chance on Dart and take him.
whether he should or not guessing Dart goes in round 1.

nicely done and why I catch myself begging my team to find a trade back opportunity.

Good mock draft. I’ll post mine before too long. I agree with a lot of it, don’t agree with a few picks, but who knows at this point, that’s why it’s fun to speculate. Good stuff.

Damn! I was hoping Walter Nolen would drop to Eagles at 32. Seems like the perfect 5 tech for Fangio’s scheme. James Pearce Jr is a risky take. The film is there. Very twitchy. But everything in reading is that he’s a loner sociopath lol

24) Vikings - Kelvin Banks

The Vikings just gave Christian Darrisaw a big contract extension. To take another LT would be redundant. Don't get me wrong, I think Banks is a great prospect, just not what Minnesota needs right now.

The Edges are literally impossible to mock because probably the 2nd and 3rd best ones have a ton of red flags maybe.

Multiple teams will be getting 'steals' but I wouldn't be shocked if the dropped a lot and I'm just hedging a bit on the CBs maybe going higher. I suspect teams will be begging to trade up into rd1 in the back half and you might see some teams backing out.

I pegged Banks as an LG. I just mentioned teams trading down and I kinda think you're one of the most likely.

My far fetched dream is that Jaxon Dart is still there at 32 and somebody wants to overpay the Eagles to move up so they can get the 5th year option that comes with a first. Far fetched…as I said yesterday, I think Dart goes top 20.

It could happen. My guess is that Milroe is QB4 but Im not sure at what point a team would take that risk. Maybe Jets trading up. Seems a bit rich for a project but it is the QB position.

Kirk Cousins, Russell Wilson, Aaron Rodgers are still out there. Wilson to the Giants was an old rumor back in the day. Seems like just enough old guys to keep teams from getting too stupid. Maybe.

Wont be surprised if my team at 33 wants to move into late first for that 5th year option.

Looks good overall. People really falling for the Sanders to Browns stuff. I personally don't see it. If Ward falls to #2 I could see them taking Ward.
I think Cleveland is the team in this draft that determines a lot of things for teams. I mean they could go Hunter, Carter or Sanders and even though I think Sanders is 3rd on that list definitely still a possibility. BPA should be the answer though and Hunter/Carter are so much better prospects than Sanders it's silly.

I'll admit most of my mock was just looking at depth charts, seeing a spot with a guy like Kenny Pickett or Mike Hughes and going 'that guy can't see the field, I need to draft someone'

The equation becomes different if its Kirk Cousins instead of Pickett. Well, maybe. I personally wouldnt want to roll the dice on Cousins, Wilson or Rodgers.

Makes sense....and not sure I agree with the Hunter/Carter so much better prospects than Sanders other than the notion seems easier to identify top DE or WR/DB talent than QB in the draft.

Good looking mock draft. Although, I would rather the Broncos take Omarion Hampton with the 20th pick vs. Burden. Get another WR or TE in later rounds. Having Evan Ingram on the roster is going to help their WR room, so would not go WR in round 1.

Looks like the Steelers might be forced to take Dart in the first round, now that Wilson and Fields are both gone.

Would be surprised to see Emmanwori go that low.

The Pats are back to being the Pats most of us knew all our lives. The guys with the bad jerseys who always lost and made bone-headed personnel moves. No one wants to play in New England anymore, just like the old days. They're back, baby!

3 year $69M?

Eh reportedly it's only $26M guaranteed so whatever. He was doing okay in Houston until the ACL tear. Pats just needed something - natural they have to overspend a little bit.

Surprised they didn't take more of that money and spend it on OL although maybe OL just didn't want to go to the Pats. Chicago, Minny, and Washington are far more attractive at the moment.
