I don't like the DK move for the Steelers. The draft compensation was OK, but that is a large contract for a player who has been inconsistent for a supposed superstar, and I question the fit with Pickens, who may now be walking after this year, as both are basically similar players.

I don’t think Pickens lasts long. The kid is a trainwreck. I wonder if they brings Rodgers in they totally revamp their scheme. Bottom 5 in passing and they pay a WR $30M/yr. Doesn’t make sense

The Rodgers stuff is a head scratcher for me. I think Fields fits the Arthur Smith mold better. An immobile QB doesn’t really fit what he’s trying to do with the running game in my personal opinion. At the same time, stranger things have happened.

Agree on scheme. I just don’t get the DK signing if your identity is running. Good blocker when the effort is there. Pickens doesn’t block.

I would love for it to not make sense though lol

Good luck Steeler nation. That is a hefty price to pay for a time bomb ready to explode. I lost track but I think he's already been fined by the NFL 15x, mostly for unsportsmanlike conduct type infractions.

The dude is an athletic freak no doubt, but his numbers have started to drop even with Lockett's numbers dropping. He said he wanted a contender and a warm climate. Maybe geography wasn't his strong suit? I see his and Steelers frustration with this come two years.

Oh definitely that kid is a stud. But Lockettes numbers also dropped. DK still had the same amount of receptions as 2023. Less yds, less TDs, lower YAC, more fumbles. Glad NE didn't make this deal.
