You are talking about the guy that ultimately gave approval to give Watson a fully guaranteed contract.
I never liked the guy but
I will say, the guy is not cheap and he will spend which is a huge plus.
everything you want in an owner.....Let's his FO do their job and stays out of way (as he did with Myles) and spends when asked (as he did with Watson and Myes).

It was smart for the Browns to extend him because they were never going to get equal value for him. It was dumb that it got to this point. No reason at all for Haslam to turn down that dinner invite with Garrett. Not only should that dinner happen but it should of hsppened when the offseason started.
why would you blame ownership for getting to this point and being dumb? If anyone was dumb in this - or at least unprofessional - it was Myles. He's the one who made a spectacle of himself, said not about money, etc. when it was clearly about the money.

There was a reason for Haslam to turn down the dinner as he was in alignment with his FO and let them handle it. Know what happens if he meets with Myles then extends him? The story is now Haslam is undermining the FO.

They had exit interviews and at that time, FYI, Myles says he wants to stay as long as higher ups still here (Berry and others). Myles all over the place.

Bolton signs back with KC.

I had some hope this one might hit the market.
Im a little surprised because I figured that KC was looking at LT and that would leave holes. That said, Bolton seems like the key cog that keeps the Chiefs defense unpredictable.

Chiefs way over the cap right now. I've heard that's not real

Seattle fans seem lukewarm but if all it took was a 2nd rounder and a big contract I'd do that in a heartbeat if I was the Chargers.

Him and Ladd is a damn good combo for Herbert. They got to find a way to make it happen

Haven't seen it cofimed as a quote from Myles but heard he explained his 180 this way.....reconsidered the idea of retiring as a Brown and into the HOF from here. And instructed his agent to get a deal done before free agency so he can recruit and help the team.

Like it.....but think he's FOS ad was all about the money

I thought the current rumor was that the price went down.
Yeah I’ve heard that the Seahawks will accept/likely get a 2nd rounder for DK, it’s unlikely they get a 1st
