He will most likely end up with the Texans.
And the long storied tradition of signing washed up Packer players continues.
I joke but it is kind of true. It virtually every other offseason that we do it.
2024 - Jones
2023 - Lowry
2022 - Zadarius
I think we skipped a couple of years there but it goes back all the way to Favre and before.
Funny how Dalvin last year at $7M was a bridge too far but they are willing to jump at Jones this year. At least you can see that they are learning from their obvious mistakes.
This can't possibly be an actual thing can it? Can't even read this guy without roiling your eyes sometimes. Why sign Fields when you already have him?
That is a crazy one, it was not just the Eagles that helped Hurts become what he is, it was Steichen. If the Colts did not have Richardson and they traded for Fields I would believe that he was going to turn into something awesome. This can't possibly be an actual thing can it? Mike Fisher will never stop being Mike Fisher. This can't possibly be an actual thing can it? Can't even read this guy without roiling your eyes sometimes. Why sign Fields when you already have him?
Because Fields is a backup level player with backup level upside. This can't possibly be an actual thing can it? Can't even read this guy without roiling your eyes sometimes. Why sign Fields when you already have him?
Almost anyone would be good here, we're a well run organization. Not like the Bears or Browns.Lucky for Hurts. He is getting $50M/yr and played in a way better offense with more playmakers with a slightly better QBR. I guess if Hurts has one more bad season he is a backup too or maybe he can switch to RB
Its tough because I think odds are the Panthers would be better off with Higgins than whoever they could draft in that range on average...but..if I'm the Panthers I'm offering a 2nd and a 5th and not both 2nd rounders because Higgins = Burns seems like a fair evaluation. This would be stupid with the crazy talented WR class. Carolina is still a long away from contending
It is not smart paying a RB to play QBAlmost anyone would be good here, we're a well run organization. Not like the Bears or Browns.
I think it would be a bad move. Giving up more picks, already have limited picks then paying him $20M+Its tough because I think odds are the Panthers would be better off with Higgins than whoever they could draft in that range on average...but..if I'm the Panthers I'm offering a 2nd and a 5th and not both 2nd rounders because Higgins = Burns seems like a fair evaluation.
