Is it time to kick up the 'Dolphins are rebuilding again' topic?
Probably, but that defense needed to be blown up and rebuilt from scratch. There was so much quit in their play last year. It was as if they were refusing to tackle on some point of principle. People also forget how much money they spent over the last 3 years. At 1 point they had 5 starting RBs.

I can see that but there is a 2nd, massive issue that they are bullies who beat up average or poor teams and consistently look mediocre on offense against good teams.

Absolutely! 10-1 against non-playoff teams and 1-5 against playoff teams, (with the 1 win being a come-from-behind FG at the buzzer to win 22-20). 0-1 in the playoffs. The offense played well most of the time Their worst offensive scores were 14, 14, 17, & 19. That's pretty decent. Their worst defensive scores were 56, 48, 34, & 31. Defense, (specifically tackling), was the problem.

What in the absolute world of fuck was John and Joe smoking by signing Burns to 5 years $150M!? Forget the nude pics, Burns has their family tied up in a basement or something...

Wow, I completely forgot about that rejected trade offer from the Rams. WTF is Carolina thinking? Nice bargain get by the Giants, altho it will cost them big time in coinage.
I guess only two more years of that slapdick at QB, maybe one year. They can afford him

The picks they gave up…fine. The contract, I would have to see what it looks like year to year. Can’t say if it is bad or not yet
