Well, there is thatWell, he isn't a two way player . . .
I am thinking Jocco…I would guess that Tibbs ceiling is an Adam Dunn type hitter, if he can start drawing more walks.
I'm still not convinced Crawford was a good pick for the 1st round but Eldridge is winning me over.Hey…
I was very negative when we picked Crawford and when we picked Eldridge. Hopefully my perfect draft analysis skills continue on pace.
I don’t know up from down, but both are getting good reviews from people who supposedly know what they see.I'm still not convinced Crawford was a good pick for the 1st round but Eldridge is winning me over.
The big problem, I see, with Crawford is that he needs to be handled with kid gloves to be healthy. It took about two years for him to be able to just pitch regularly as a reliever and when he does, he gets injured again. Seems one knock on him when drafted was that he just got or was about to get TJ surgery.I don’t know up from down, but both are getting good reviews from people who supposedly know what they see.
Who?I think we put him at first base, move Eldridge to 3rd. His swing kind of reminds me of Will Clark
I think is too early to worry about that right now. Tibbs is older than Eldridge, so I would assume he has more proximity to SF than Eldridge.Tibb III
Don’t say that. I look at the kid, and he physically resembled Jocco already. Don’t give me more reasons to compare the two…I actually think, and I might be in the minority, that being big at 3rd is good. He also was a pitcher so has a very strong throwing arm. The downside to Tibb is he is all bat and average arm and speed. I live on Cape Cod and know several managers of the teams here, including the team he played at. When I talked to them today they said he might even only be a DH unless he works hard at fielding.
That was my impression; they drafted a DH. Which probably isn't a bad way to go.I actually think, and I might be in the minority, that being big at 3rd is good. Lefty slugger, smart move to try to draft those (because signing them is pretty much impossible)James Tibbs III
