i am not spending a top 3 pick on JJ mccarthy . we will never be happy with a bus driver at 3 overall . most of you ran KC out of town because you couldnt stand the bus driver
Looks like he's going to be hell on opposing defenses in the slot. I was kinda hoping Dotson could be that for us this year and go big opposite TM.He is a good prospect but Im leaning towards Ladd if we go WR in the 2nd round. Arguably the best route runner in the draft.
If he can stay healthy. He was a walking injury last year.Looks like he's going to be hell on opposing defenses in the slot. I was kinda hoping Dotson could be that for us this year and go big opposite TM.
But that isn't what we necessarily need at the WR spot moving forward. CBs were out muscling our WRs all last year.a few, ive seen him mocked in the late first early 2nd. I know he is small but a great route runner and fast.
I am not betting on McCarthy being a bus driver. He did more in college than all of the QBs in this draft.i am not spending a top 3 pick on JJ mccarthy . we will never be happy with a bus driver at 3 overall . most of you ran KC out of town because you couldnt stand the bus driver
Define "did more".I am not betting on McCarthy being a bus driver. He did more in college than all of the QBs in this draft.
Definitely a slot guy. Didn't know about the injuries. If he can stay healthy. He was a walking injury last year.
He is kind of a small guy.
He is a tough dude but had various injuries all last year.Definitely a slot guy. Didn't know about the injuries.

We need size and some height to balance what we already have with Dotson and TMac.
Seems like you are just reading his draft profile. Late first round would be a massive reach.

Come on Dean, the dolphins are on another planet compared to us. Silly comment.it could be but the Dolphins have small Wr's and look at those guys. I think he is just as big as Waddle.

They arguably have the best wr in the game with Hill. He is the fastest wr in the NFL. Had over 100+ catches.
Waddle is about 6'0 or 5'11 and grabbed 70+ balls last year. He is a very good WR.
TMac and Dotson aren't in the same league as Hill and Waddle and you know that.
The dolphins 3rd leading pass catcher was Smythe, TE, who is 6'6. Their 4th leading pass catcher was wilson Jr who is 6'2.
They clearly have a balance of height with their pass catching threats. We don't at this time.
They also have an elite play caller who has built a scheme that is highly productive.
I am sorry but you are wrong.
But you said look at the dolphins and their wrs so I did. Waddle is way more athletic than Ladd. Even UGA fans would admit that.i know i meant comparing Ladd to Waddle as far as size.

The dolphins 4 top pass catchers were
6'0
5'11.or 6'0
6'6
6'2
Drafting Ladd would most likely lead to
6'0
5'11
5'11
???
Big difference.
But we would have 3 if we draft Ladd?sorry i meant their starters. there top 2 are small wr's, small wr's can make an impact in todays game.
But we would have 3 if we draft Ladd?
I am not following you.
Again, different team, different offense, different play caller.
The dolphins have height balance...we would not.
We can but it would be confusing if we did with a high pick.So we can't draft a WR who is under 6 feet b/c of Dotson and tmac?
we could use size at wr for sure . i cant see burning a top 40 pick on ladd
