Love the Newton pick here. Agree, some great value. Which I understand we are in Round 1 but I think overall the late 20's are going to be some really good leftovers in which you could justify as top 15 picks even.

Thanks buddy. I would have considered but didn't want to keep things moving. At the same time happy with this pick and probably wouldn't get him at 32.

FWIW, one of the PFF guys thinks Newton is the best defensive player in the draft

I actually really like how this draft falls for Tampa Bay with their position and needs. I thought I had 3 extremely strong options with my pick and I feel thats somewhat rare drafting for playoff teams

I had the same for the Bills until Newton was picked directly before. He was probably the third option of the 3 for the Bills specifically.

Yeah, when he falls to them it's an easy pick. I had my alternate ready should someone have traded up ahead of me though and was content with that pick as well.

I'm about 90% sure if he falls IRL that KC will trade ahead just to take him. Not sure its the smartest move but Veach likes to trade up

At this point, it wouldnt shock me. Everything with the Chiefs is pretty crazy.

That was pretty much my reaction to him and Brian Thomas Jr, too.

Honestly not sure which Texas receiver will be better I just think Worthy would be a weird fit with Hollywood Brown already on the Chiefs so I wanted to trade up.
