Funny that Clarke and Kempe are both listed as the same size of 6'2" and 200lbs. No way Clarke is 200..

If you go on their IG from a few weeks ago he's in one of those post game photos no gear where they hand out the fire helmet for player of the game.

He has arms like a 5th grader, he is nowhere near 200 pounds, maybe 165 soaking wet.

Our boy PLD and company in town on Thursday. Ovechkin is 9 goals away from Gretzky.

Might have to cruise down and maybe see that game.

And you know he's going to go off and rack up some points. He's already at 17G/40A on the season.

I still bust up looking back at his "Tour of LA" thing in 2023.

TA ranking all 32 teams goaltending, Kings coming in at 17th:

17. Los Angeles Kings

A reunion with Bill Ranford in Los Angeles has Darcy Kuemper playing like he’s 27 again. After two underwhelming seasons in Washington following his Cup win in Colorado, Kuemper looks rejuvenated playing behind a strong Kings defense. It’s a credit to Ranford — who was Los Angeles’ goalie coach when Kuemper first played there in 2017 and has since moved to director of goaltending — and Kuemper for rediscovering his game as he approaches 35.

Kuemper is tied for the fifth-highest save percentage in the NHL at .915, but he’s been very insulated playing behind a dominant defense. The true test will come in the postseason, but it’s hard not to like what we’ve seen from Kuemper this year.

David Rittich’s game has taken a step back after an impressive 2023-24, but he’s been reliable enough for the Kings to not overwork Kuemper, which is valuable.

Man Jeannot is built like a tank..

Yeah I wouldn't want to fight that guy.

There's some photos floating around of Chris Chelios when he was late 50s from 2020 or so and that dude is a physical freak, he was known to be a complete gym rat and unbelievably strong too. He's on a paddle board in this one in just board shorts and his body looks like he's 25, built like a freight train. Six pack, big guns, the whole thing.

All that boozing and partying apparently didn't affect this guy.

Thought this was kind of neat, power rankings plus a nod to each team's OG from TA:

11. Los Angeles Kings, 34-20-9

Last week: 12
Mirtle rank: 11
Dom rank: 10

The OG: Anze Kopitar

Patrice Bergeron and Jonathan Toews may be gone from their teams, but Anze Kopitar is still rocking it for the Kings. This is Kopitar’s 19th season with the Kings. He’s been a consistent marvel for the team and that has yet to change at 37. Kopitar is once again scoring at a near 70-point pace and the Kings are once again earning over 55 percent of the goals in his minutes. You can set a watch to Kopitar’s impact for the Kings.

That said, the transition to the Kings no longer being “his team” looks well underway. Relative to teammates, Kopitar’s impact on xG differential is minus-0.3 per 60 — a career low. He’s also seeing less of the tough minutes he’s used to soaking up.

It’s a testament to Kopitar’s greatness that it took 19 years to get to this point, though. The sun may be starting to set for him, but if that means a 65-to-70-point season and outscoring opponents considerably, then the Kings still have time before it hits the horizon. Kopitar still rules.

Kings stay in PD2 didn't last 24 hours, Oilers beat the Isles 2-1 in OT on a breakaway by Draisaitl. Kings back to PD3.

Looking like these two will teeter totter the rest of the way unless someone drastically drops off.
