You're team at least has played in a Super Bowl 3 times during this century (with 2 wins - both in EPIC fashion)!

In my life, 4 out of 5. 1987, 1991, 2008, 2012. They got demolished by the Ravens in 2000. But to see 4 championships, damn man that's something.

The thing with the Giants is when they go, they GO. There is nothing stopping them. Seeing this craziness the last 13 years, good God. I honestly don't think I'll see another Super Bowl, win or loss.

I feel for you guys, Dallas has had so many stacked rosters, they deserve a better fate.

The Kings have a guy like that, Dunno. But he's too nice. Go punch that clown McJesus in his face. Take the penalty, take the grief. Doesn't matter, send that message.

Go back to Richards, you think that midget would tolerate McDavid? He would punch him in the face and bang his mom simultaneously. Zero Fs given.

This is where Bowlby failed, no win at all costs players. Bunch of feel goods like "he's from Thousand Oaks!" or "Mikey" Anderson. Grow up and get some nasty players who want to win.

Maybe playing D they are similar, but Eichel smokes him in offensive skill

Absolutely agree. Eichel just needed out of Buffalo, losing cultures breed defeat. I don't see any - maybe Kempe - in the DNA of the Kings. Too many aww shucks guys.

Let's trade a young, cheap, on the upswing 200' right shot forward for an older, expensive, plateaud right shot forward to address an area of need.

Blake, probably.

I remember getting THN in the mail in the 90s and 2000s and it was a good rag, looks like they're just letting anyone write articles for them nowadays.

They get 1 right by accident, "Lets trade that guy for another mistake!"

Well they can't seem to draft well in the first or second rounds and hit a gem on Laferriere in the third (same Buster 2020 draft), for whatever reason the Kings seem to get lucky in the later rounds but blow everything in the early rounds.

Anderson was a later pick as well but the Busters, Bjornfots, Arty Retardys, no dice where as those should be home runs. It's really perplexing how they can miss on so many high picks. Tells me they indeed just get lucky with guys like Laferriere and it's not some planned out thing.

Unless it's for a blockbuster/game breaker, trading Laferriere would be a mistake. He's one of the few hits this drafting and development team has had in pretty much all of Blake's tenure and is turning into a complete two way guy who looks to have some offensive pop while not being a liability.

Has that compete level too, he is built for PO hockey.

Watching Caps Pens, tied 2-2 when I turn it on and Washington rattles off 4 goals in about 8 minutes to lead 6-2 to blow it open.

PLD with two assists, both primaries including a slick cross ice pass to Chycrun who skated in, completely tooled Desharnais and roofed it on Nedeljkovic. Shortly after he sets up another one after an extended cycle in the Pens zone.

Again not defending his play at times when he was here, but it's impressive what he's doing when he has wingers like Wilson and Ovechkin and not JAD and Arty Retardy. He may hit 70+ points this season which would be a career high and would put some egg on LAs face.

Make that 3 assists, 7-2. This one a sexondary but directly led to the goal on the PP and 47 points (13/34).

Random LA Fire teams.

Actually looks like a lot of former NHL players including a ton of ex Kings like Mike Donnelly with a handful of first responders on the rosters. Matt Greene, Stoll, Carter, Emerson, Blake, etc.

Manon Rheaume is even playing but not as a goalie, first female to ever play in goal for an NHL team, I think it was a preseason game for Tampa Bay back in 1991 or so.

Just saw Team White has 7-11 on it but he's not listed as a goalie. Probably a good thing even in a pseudo beer league game.

=)~~

Kings have been linked to Rakell but this is the first I've seen actual names involved - TOTM and the 2025 1st round pick. Dubas is familiar with him obviously from their TO days.

No problem with moving TOTM but a 1st too? Only if there is salary retention, Rakell is under contract for 3 more years after this one at $5 million per season and is on the wrong side of 30 even having a productive season (32 in May).

Watching Pens Rangers in TNT, 1-1 almost end of the first. Cuylle just tied it up on the PP.

Also noticed Arty Retardy is paired with the awesome play driver Rempe. Been scratched several times in the month of February too.

That 2019 draft reminds me of 2003 when the Kings had three picks in the first round and took Brown, Boyle* and Tambellini. Boyle turned into a serviceable B6 player going from team to team, Tambellini was a bust and Brown was overall solid for LA but had a 5 year dip in the late 2000s and to end his career. These three were supposed to be the future.

In 2019 the Kings take Turcotte, Bjornfot and while not a first round pick only 2 away from being one at 32nd overall in Kaliyev. Bjornfot waived and in the AHL for Florida, Kaliyev waived and playing in the B3 in NY and jury still out on Turcotte.

Not good.

*heard the same thing 22 years ago, being 6'6" it'll take him longer to become that 1C/2C the Kings envisioned. Yeah no, didn't happen. That's why I don't use Thompson as a comp for Buster, for every 6'6" Thompson there is a 6'6 Boyle.

Still watching Pens Rags, Penguins goaltending has been awful all season and a huge reason why they have the third worst goals differentials in the league ( -47). Both of them have been horrible this game (Nedeljkovic pulled, Blomqvist in).

Forget the 2025 1st, move TOTM and one of the goalie prospects not named Portillo instead.
