Dude try being a NY Giants fan, once the crown jewel flagship franchise of the NFL, now a complete joke for about 12 years. This was their 100th season and it was supposed to be this season long celebration, turned into a season long nightmare. People were flying planes telling the Mara family to sell the team.

Cant tell you how much grief I've gotten over the years including from my son who is a Dallas fan and my daughter who is an Eagles fan, how did this happen under my roof haha.

Just checking the 2020 top 5 draft picks and a few things jumped out at me:

- Buster has the second least amount of points from the top 5
- The least is Sanderson (105 points) but he's a defenseman and only 12 points behind Buster
- Buster has the second least amount of games played (Sanderson)
- the other four guys (Lafreniere, Raymond, Sanderson and Stuetzle) have horrific plus/minus stats, indicative of their teams mostly. Buster number one with +29 also indicative of his team

Just some fun facts, watching Sweden Finland, good game.

Sam Steel extended by Stars, humble $2.1 million AAV. His career PPG .341 and reflective of the payout.

I remember when him, Troy Terry and Max Jones were the "future" for Anaheim, two of those three are busts. Max Jones is in the AHL playing for the Providence Bruins, not even an NHL player which is saying a lot considering how bad the Bruins are.

Nice reminder to not bank on players until they actually produce and pay them accordingly.

I don't buy it because of his age and term left on the deal but this states the Kings have been linked to Marchessault.

He essentially would be an Arvidsson replacement, smallish RH shooter. Good player but the contract is scary whether the cap goes up or not. Crazy how almost all of Nashville's spending spree last summer has blown up in their face.

No thanks

Dude will be 38 when that deal expires, that will not age well. Which means Bowlby will give up Greentree and a 1st for him because Blake gonna do Blake things but sit back with a scotch and smile thinking he came out the winner.

Im not sure I want anyone from the Preds. Sure I like Foresberg but hes not available, Marchessault is good and much needed speed/skill but oof thats LA cap problems again. O'Reilly could be a help vs McJesus.....but really imo look elsewhere or a multi team deal

I hste this 4 team thing, like the All Star bs that interrupts the season.....save all this for after the NHL season, I could get into it more. Imagine if 5 teams played since Russia is banned that st least saves a week? Soon we will have 3 part season:

Start season

Break for 4 or 5 team thing so guys can heal (might be worth getting legend back)

Finish NHL regular season

Add All Star break here

Start playoffs

Add Olympics here before cup finals

Have finals

Yay!

Could be worse.......could BE a Cowboys fan (of 45 years), and know that your team will NEVER get to the Super Bowl again while Jerry is alive. Have two brothers that migrated to Dallas almost 15 years ago, and they both claim that the city of Dallas is praying that JJ dies soon!!

Kings flat out need more forwards that are willing to go to the net, and drive plays to the net, or crashing the net that have meat on them. Someone in the 6'1"-6'3" range, weighing a solid 210-230 lbs. The way the team is crafted now, there's too many perimeter players (why the PP sucks).

Honestly, if they were to add Marsh-ess-sew (how Nickson pronounces his name), don't think I could watch the team with him here. Hated that Bastard the whole time he was with Vegas, happy he's further away.

He's one of the worst owners in sports. Dude is a control freak who won't let people do their jobs and then it translates into (usually) solid seasons but piss poor playoffs.

Rough season for you guys too, I actually felt bad for my son.

Alex Tuch. Young(ish), power forward, exactly what LA needs. Will cost but that's a guy you pay a price for.

I'd move Buster for him in a heartbeat. Greentree is a few years away, if at all (Jens Karlsson, also a big power forward but we saw what happened to his NHL career...whole lot of nothing, literally) and Tuch could fill that role.

As an owner, he's the best, from a pure business side of the equation. He just thinks he's a football guy as well, and that's where he's clearly in over his head. Is further complicated by having his son Stephen being the Director of Player Personnel, there's a reason when they introduced their new coach, nobody gave Stephen any applause when his name was announced. Jerry also never pays $$ for legit head coaches, thus why the team hasn't done anything since the early 90s...

I couldn't watch any games past week 2, because if you knew how the team was constructed, they weren't going to be any good.

I watched all season with Sunday Ticket, I don't know why I tortured myself every Sunday with the Giants. At one point I went almost 90 days between wins (10 weeks, tied the longest losing streak in franchise history. Embarrassing being the 100th celebration season).

My son religiously watched the Cowboys, they weren't on national TV as much this season because they weren't going to be the money making draw they usually are so we would have the Giants on one TV and the Cowboys on another and clown each other.

My other son is a Ravens fan (again, no idea how that happened because everyone was raised as Giants fans but I'm glad they have their own teams to follow) and my daughter the Eagles fan but those two didn't watch as much. Bandwagoners haha.

I do like Tuch

I liked him the moment he broke into the league and when he was with Vegas he stood out. Was always crashing the Kings net, seemed to bury his chances or get a timely goal. Has that size (6'4/216) we want, good wheels.

He was the centerpiece of the Eichel trade and while a little older now in Buffalo he will still not be cheap. He's got 19 goals and 43 points, so he would be in the top 3 in scoring already in LA with Kempe and Fiala.

Wouldn't be a rental either, he has one more year left at $4.75 million so a minimum of two potential PO runs. That's a steal for that production (look at TOTM who's paid similarly but his stat line is flat out garbage), I'd be making serious inquiries were I Bowlby.

Tuch is someone that can play and think/react with Fiala and goes to the net. He knows how to finish.

I think those two on a line would be pretty spectacular. Fiala does some off the wall stuff that not many seem to be able to complement but I think Tuch could. Dude knows his role and plays it.

I'm still very surprised how TOTM has just fallen on a cliff after 31 goals last season. He definitely overachieved so I wasn't expecting 30+ goals again but I certainly wasn't expecting 8 with 50% of them into an empty net all for the bargain price of $4.2 million.

That is a black hole of a contract yet again doled out by Blake, Moore has zero trade value too by his play but also by his contract. Still got 3 years left on that 5 year/$21 million deal too, ouch.

HAHA. I do understand. I was a Rams fan up until they took off for St Louis. Thats when I started playing fantasy football to fill the void. In fantasy you start to pull for players moreso than teams. Then I met my wife and she is a Dallas fan (whom I hated for years because the Rams couldnt beat them). Now I am a Dallas fan (happy wife, happy life) and they suck. Dak is a joke of a QB and Jerry Jones needs to either sell or relinquish the reins and let a real GM come in and run the team. They may be more of a joke than the Giants franchise at this point.
