JJ Redick is 100% right. Lebron leaving the sport will help this situation. The media sucking his dick for 20 years - even though he was sucking china's dick, faking racist shit, and jumping all over the league - has been bad for the sport, bad for the nation, and promoted a generation of the worst kind of analysts.

The sport can heal once he's gone. It's embarrassing what they let happen.
Sixers have been eliminated so it’s time for you to head back to the trailer park.

What self respecting trailer park would let him in?

He seems more like a living in a van down by the river type.

Where did I say it was lebron's fault? Try to read better. It was entirely the media's choice. I didn't mention obama going on espn or anything about that nonsense.

Lebron will leave and the coverage of the sport will heal. Just like I said the first time.

Saying that LeBron leaving will allow the sport to heal is the same as blaming LeBron.

He has been nothing but good for the game of basketball. And he gets so much attention because he has earned it with a spectacular career.

You can take your personal agendas elsewhere.

He is arguably the GOAT....

Crazy he would spout all that nonsense.

He will in two years. He's already mentioned it. I'm not saying he would take the minimum he would take the MLE. If it meant playing with his son...absolutely

He has also said that he doesn't need to play on the same team as his son, just at the same time in the league. So...?

I love the assumption that of course Cleveland will draft Bronny. I thought Cleveland was out of the lottery business for the foreseeable future?

Dirk, Duncan, Kobe, Ginobli, Pierce, Allen, - many more

he is not taking the minimum- but i dont think he is after the maximum either at that point is what I would suspect.

How many of those were still making all-NBA teams and performing at Lebron's level?

I never said max, I do believe he's not thinking even MLE, maybe more of a Kobe step-down if anything.

There is no assumption, if the opportunity came his way to play on the SAME team you better believe he would

I don't think Ham should be fired. The Nuggets were the better team.

The only reason Ham being replaced even gets suggested is because of the names currently available. I don't think he's going anywhere (nor are any of the Lakers' key pieces, pending Lebron's "decision"), as Pelinka was quoted during exit interviews that continuity and continuing to develop the team that was just thrown together in February is the current plan forward.

Sure, thus his player option (for $50M) for '24/'25. If you think he's forgoing $50M to take $12M, I've got a bridge to sell you.

He got outplayed by Aaron Gordon in a close out game that Lebron put up 30 in the first half.

Shit, he was outhustled by Tristan “ baby factory “ Thompson for a quick minute.

His defense was stellar all postseason.

His offense was every other day to Davis.

That can’t happen.

He doesn't control how often the offense is run through him, especially when Lebron is maximum usage in the first half. He relies on his guards (and Reaves) to give him the ball. Sure, he wasn't efficient by any stretch, but he also didn't touch the ball enough for my taste.

He isn’t getting replaced.

But I am not impressed with Ham’s performance overall.

And I believe Ham and what’s his name from Boston will make teams with title aspirations shy away from hiring an inexperienced coach this summer.

That and like you said a lot of big names available.

This is trivially obvious, but not for the board's biggest Laker homer.

It's not for sure going to happen, but to say it's not because of contract size is retarded.
If you think I'm the board's biggest Laker homer, you're not paying attention. This isn't even about the Lakers, lol.

You mean like they did with Caruso?

Pelinka already said without specifically guaranteeing anything that they intend to bring back their young core for next season. That's Rui and Reaves for sure.

was there this kind of buzz around Caruso? I don’t remember it.

Only among Laker fans. Caruso was more low key as mainly a defensive contributor with the occasional splash play.

I certainly didn’t remember him being the Wonderboy Reaves is.
