What do you all think about this?

New Rule-

Where we get one IR spot... Would need to use this IR spot if a player is deemed out for the season. If you place the player on IR it means you can't activate him even if some weird thing changes with his injury status but it would allow you to save him on your roster as a keeper option. Thinking about doing this to save people from having to hang onto a player out for the season for keeper purposes. You would get to place one player on IR and I am not talking about a hamstring injury where you can bring them back a few weeks later. An IR would mean you can no longer use them the rest of the year but they stay part of your active roster and would be keeper eligible.

I’d vote yes

I'll vote the opposite of what Q does

JB: I’m sorry, but if you want unanimous consent…you’re just gonna have to get it from someone else…

This means it automatically fails since in season voting must be unanimous

We are still out of season. That is also an old Skins rule and the commish can overrule any rule anyway. ;)

I would say in this case if I get 9 "yes" votes it is going to be a new rule. We need a little change anyway. ;)

I am going to be leaving early tomorrow morning on a 10 hour drive to Oklahoma City. Will make a few stops on the way. Please be patient with me tomorrow. I don't think it will impact much but I probably won't be able to text as quickly when people are on the clock. There could be some gaps where I am not able to check.

I vote "yes", good add. I think it makes sense.

I like that the player has to be deemed out for the season and if you do place him on IR you risk not being able to use him if something changes with his health. Makes people choose wisely. Sorta like a challenge but you don't get one back. I would suspect it would be used mostly for star players with keeper value.

Really like the J. Michael Sturdivant pick. He was quite valuable for me last year. I will warn you @The Q that he prefers the period after the J.
