Some people think he could go within the first 15 pick.
He's already moving up. Jerimiah thinks he'll be one of the top 4 to go.

DBs are doing their thing. Witherspoon isn't there. He "tweaked" his hammy. He'll be readyfor his Pro-Day.

BB was asked why he didn't go to the combine. He didn't say it was a waste of time, but he did say that he would be going to many Pro-Days instead. Can't do anything at the Combine other than talk to the participants off the field. At their ProDay, an NFL coach or Coordinator can ask them to do something specific and actually coach them doing it. From the combine the commentators said that seven HCs were not there.

According to NBC Sports Boston the Patriots spent over an hour meeting and interviewing QB Anthony Richardson Univ. f FL.

6'4" 230, runs a 4.35 40. He can throw the ball a mile at 100 mph but can't throw a screen to save his ass. Horrible accuracy.
He's considered to be extremably coachable and willing to work hard. If he's still around and the Pats get a 3rd round compensatory pick, he could be some real competition for Mac.

Some people think he could go within the first 15 pick.
An inaccurate QB isn't competition for anyone.

People are talking out both sides of their mouth on Mr. Richardson!
Should be interesting to see who bites!

Not even the Jets?????

Anthony Ricardson blew 'em away yesterday at the Combine. 4.33 40, 43-1/4" vertical. Suddenly he's moved up the most "most Favorable" ladder to #4 amongst the QBs. Amazing what people can do in shorts and tee shirts without any defense on the field.

I see a lot of this coming his way

166 ponds at anyone's ankles will drop them. You and I both can carry a 160LB back pack for a few feet. I'll agree a 165LB DB isn't stopping a lot of first downs on the ground, but teams relying on DB's to stop first downs in the run game are already in deep trouble.

TE Darnell Washington, Georgia and Zack Kuntz Old Dominion

This TE class is full of hyper athletic freaks this year but two stand out above the rest. Darnell Washington measured in at just shy of 6’7 and 265 pounds and at that size posted a 31” vertical, a 10’2 broad jump, and then blazed a 4.65 40 yard dash. As crazy impressive as that is at that size, Zack Kuntz outdid him. Kuntz, a Penn State transfer, measured in just over 6’7 and 255 pounds and jumped out of the gym with a 40” vertical, a 10’8 broad jump, and a 4.55 40 yard dash. Just absolutely bananas numbers for a guy that size.

Loser

TE Michael Mayer, Notre Dame

Mayer is one of the top tight ends in the class on many boards but he tested fairly average. He measured in with arms under 32” and despite cutting weight down to 249 pounds he only had a 32.5” vertical jump, a 9’10 broad jump, and a 4.75 40 yard dash. He was never going to be the most athletic guy in the tight end group but with the way most of the group stood out athletically, this was a bad day for him.

I thought he was already hovering around 4?

If the top OT are off the board when we are up, I’m all for trading back to the end of the 1st round. Get a few extra solid picks and select him

Stats like that from a QB with a big concern as to whether or not he can actually play QB make him seem more like a WR prospect.
