I honestly don't know about the top 10 in each conference. So many moving pieces this off season at the top. Plus Ja will be out for a while with Memphis.

Phoenix will most likely have a little adjustment period before hitting their stride and those losses could mean a lot for the final standings.

We'll see. I'll cheat a little and come back mid November.
It’s just preseason predictions: no one’s life is riding in the balance.:noidea:

I think all 3 have a shot especially the last 2

Losing Smart is a wayyy bigger deal that people realize imo

He was that teams heart and leadership plus being an elite defender

Porzingis is going to disappear on that squad

The one im going with gut on is the SAC pick. That team is so young this year is going to go one of 2 ways. They regress big time and miss the playoffs or they take the next step and become elite. Adding Vexenkov is really really underrated too. That guy is a baller

As for the Kings, I just don't see anyway all of your top 6 guys barely miss any games again this year. It is just so rare so I doubt it happens B2B years

Fox- 9 missed games
Sabonis- 3 missed games
Red Velvet- 7 missed games
Barnes- Played all 82
Monk- 5 missed games
Murray- 2 missed games
Lyles- 8 missed games
Davion- 2 missed games

That was basically they're entire rotation and they all played at least 73 games....that is crazy

Another prediction

Sengun will make the as team
He must be the reason you’re high on Houston…

Love Brooks, iffy on VanVleet, but ultimately worry those two on the same team will kill their overall FG percentage.

Uh... you do realize the Celtics picked up Jrue Holiday, right?

Yep i do. And IF he's on the court enough he could potentially assume a lot of that role but that's not a given either

Jrue isn't a big injury concern, and the Celtics are pretty deep at guard too.

That's my point. They seem to want to go big. In just not sure how much he's going to see the court comped to what Smart did or if he's capable of the leadership qualities we saw from Smart. I think he can play the D but that's only part of it

Fair enough.

I largely disagree with you point-of-view here... to my mind, Jrue is an upgrade over Smart. Similar but better.

Jrue just more steady, IMO.
