Hey Mays. I will be in NYC from July 20-23. Will see the Mets on 7/20 (day game), and the Yankees on 7/22 (day game). My best friend from childhood lives about two miles from Yankee Stadium. I have been looking at tickets, and man, they are not cheap! How do families go to Yankee Stadium?

I live in NC, and never lived in NYC (I grew up in Syracuse). But I do know the subways will take you to both stadiums, with a ton of other fans, so I've heard it's safe.

Just make sure you don't root for the visitors.

On TV they said the last time the Giants were no-hit was in 2013 in Cincinnati, Homer Bailey did it with Dusty managing him

This guy's 4 seam fastball clocks at 87 mph, per ESPN Gameday.

That was Timmeh's speed when he became a batting practice pitcher. WTF?

I am flying into La Guardia, stashing my carry-on, and then walking to Citi Field to see the Mets. Then picking up my luggage and on into Manhattan to stay with my friend. First time in NYC. Looking forward to seeing the 9/11 memorial, and Coogan's Bluff (old Polo Grounds), Brooklyn Bridge, Wall Street, etc.
