2022 Season review from a conference perspective

There has been a lot of talk about this conference is"bad" or that conference "sucks" but not a lot to back up claims. I propose to give some "back-up" on the 2022 season at least for P5 vs P5 games. I have shown how it can be done using conference rankings and will break down each conference's performance vs each of the other conferences plus Notre Dame. That way one can see where each conference "failed" and where each conference excelled. It is obvious by looking at the data that there are a considerable number of what I will call "anomalies" for each conference. Also it is best to remember that one season may not give a correct impression of a conference overall. With that said I will start with the PAC which right now seems to be the target of derision. Finally, remember it is "off season" for CFB so let's wile away our time until fall with fluff!!
