Massive WOOF!!! So happy for this one.
Yeah, not good for us. Definitely an Oregon lean now.Rut roh

The new image rights deal is great for you guys. The Ducks probably benefitted from that more than any other team in the PAC-12 with your Nike connection.
If only Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates cared about college football...
That and need to start winning meaningful games and meaningful bowl games. Start doing that and UW can get back on track.Yeah, not good for us. Definitely an Oregon lean now.

Good point.Alaska Airlines could be an option. I saw that Thibodeaux just signed a deal with United.
I agree. That and need to start winning meaningful games and meaningful bowl games. Start doing that and UW can get back on track.
That Michigan game could set the tone for the rest of the season. While we landed some of our top targets, it's been rough going so far. Jimmy and the staff have these next couple months to finally display what they offer.
I cannot stress this enough. Winning solves a lot of these issues quickly, but we have got to beat Michigan and Oregon this season. If they blow those opportunities with the talent level they have this year, we're going to be in a very bad spot. 9 to 10 wins this year. Thats the bar that has to be hit.
Sorry haven't been around lately much. I've been dealing with a lot this year with work hours and family stuff. Looking forward to this season.
Well any hopes of this season improving our recruiting class pretty much just went out the window. That Michigan game could set the tone for the rest of the season.
Agreed. Heard there was a very large presence of local recruits at the game last night. Bunch of their targets for the next couple classes. What a friggin disaster.Well any hopes of this season improving our recruiting class pretty much just went out the window.
Pretty much unless they pull off the upset which at this point would be a miracle.Well any hopes of this season improving our recruiting class pretty much just went out the window.
With Morris struggling under pressure at home against Montana of all teams, I can't imagine how he'll look under pressure playing in front of 100,000 people.Pretty much unless they pull off the upset which at this point would be a miracle.
I hate to say the sky is falling... But I think it is.Agreed. Heard there was a very large presence of local recruits at the game last night. Bunch of their targets for the next couple classes. What a friggin disaster.
And because Nike and the Ducks continue on their war against us, they made sure Robert's announced his official flip to them today. Talk about coordinated turning the knife for maximum effect.
I hate to say it, but I think as Husky fans, we're going to have to accept we're looking at a lot of problems now and in the next couple years. Everything that could go wrong, is going wrong, and the damage is bad.
It started with Petersens mediocre last season and his rather shocking departure. A lot of cracks were forming and the hits just keep coming now while Nike and the Ducks are just firing nukes at us to make it worse.
I agree it'll make the Montana game look bad but beating Michigan will give us fans maybe a glimmer of hope that the team that looked past Montana and the real team is here to stay. Lose to Michigan and I doubt they even make the crappiest of crappiest bowl game. With Morris struggling under pressure at home against Montana of all teams, I can't imagine how he'll look under pressure playing in front of 100,000 people.
Thank God I wasn't able to make arrangements to go to the game in Ann Arbor. If we lose to Michigan, it'll further confirm that changes need to be made. If we beat Michigan, ironically it'll make the loss to Montana even worse.

If that happens than Lake has lost the confidence of the team and the offensive staff plus Lake will need to be replaced.I hate to say the sky is falling, but it is.
With those two losses, I not only expect recruiting to get worse but we're likely going to see a mass exodus via the transfer portal.
When the team was winning, there was a reason for blue chip talent to sit around and wait their turn to become starters. I wouldn't be surprised if half a dozen commits from the 2019 and 2020 classes decide to transfer after the season is over.
